must invite all SB900/SB600 owners, then find a SU800 owner  brows.gif

Look for D3/D3s/D3x owners. They usually have SU800 for commander tongue.gif.

I have an innocent D3000...
Jedi or what ?  laugh.gif

BTW, what's the best bokeh lens compatible with D3000 ?
*
Cheapest -> 50mm f/1.8D (but MF). Cheapest AF probably 35mm f/1.8G.

RM380 50mm f/1.8D, RM900+ for 35mm f/1.8G (not sure on this).

For myself I think I need a better zoom lens compared to my crappy 1855...
But sometimes I also want poisonous bokeh lens for portraits... *Coz 1855 can't give me nice bokeh, all of them are kinda harsh.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 versus the Nikon f/1.4D. Frankly, I used both on the D3 before. I can't exactly see the differences...

Oh right, and the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 was sold already, due to focusing issue with my friend's D3.

If nikon got 70-200 VR F4.0 i will buy... No budget for F2.8 =X

Nikon has plans for f/4 if not mistaken. But I would say, stick to f/2.8! I used f/4 for event yesterday. Haiz shutter not fast enough sad.gif.

Of course F2.8 is better lo  sad.gif But poor students like me how to earn freaking 7k!
Even if I can earn 7k during holidays, I also feel bad for buying such expensive things at this age, my family is poor also =X

But constant F4 is anyway better than F5.6 lo
*
Well definitely... biggrin.gif.

QUOTE(Faint @ Jul 4 2010, 01:38 PM)
But Sigma build quality is freaking, nice to hold and really silent. Later wanna go shop try both of them!
*
Sigma silent? Sure or not... As far as I know the SWMs are the best for Nikons. I can't even hear my 16-35 focusing at all!

50mm f/1.4G is slow, slower than the 50mm f/1.4D also anyways LOL.

50mm f/1.4D on D3s -> VERY fast...

Yes... haha those AF-D really shine with a good high end body! No wonder some of the pros don't want to change to the AF-S. Really fast the D3s twist the 50mm f/1.4D. Yesterday went to shoot event friend brought his new D3s, 14.7k!!! Arghhh, but lucky I'm immune.. gonna wait for D700's replacement xD.

body motor AF is fast, but still short of few advantages SWM offers, such as less noisy AF n full time MF override

u sure u immune?  tongue.gif
maybe jz impossible for u to be able to get 1 so count as immune?  laugh.gif
*
Haha, actually I can get a D700 now if I want to... but frankly gonna wait for the replacement... so at the moment preparing my lens tongue.gif. My friend the funniest lor, only got 50mm to use with his D3s. doh.gif

guys i saw this brochure from nikon times square. Did you notice nikon d5000 they put "nikon DX-format CCD image sensor"

i think this catalog is misleading. Anyone notice this?
*
Typed wrongly I guess, D5000 using same sensor as D90. 12MP CMOS sensor.
