Sigma 50mm f/1.4 versus the Nikon f/1.4D. Frankly, I used both on the D3 before. I can't exactly see the differences...
Oh right, and the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 was sold already, due to focusing issue with my friend's D3.

QUOTE(Faint @ Jul 4 2010, 12:19 PM) How bout Sigma 50-200 ? What is the lowest u guys can found ? Seldom heard about the sigma, but shashinki is selling at RM1250. I checked and this sigma has HSM OS, similar to nikon's SWM VR. I think it might be better than nikon's (judging at the price alone) but you need to read more reviews and try personally on that. But I will suggest the cheaper Nikon =D

Of course F2.8 is better lo But poor students like me how to earn freaking 7k! Even if I can earn 7k during holidays, I also feel bad for buying such expensive things at this age, my family is poor also =X But constant F4 is anyway better than F5.6 lo

As far as I know the SWMs are the best for Nikons. I can't even hear my 16-35 focusing at all!
