ongdandy, who says Sigmalux 50mm f1.4 is cheap it's more expensive that the nikon, around 2.1k.

Some people prefer sigma 50mm f1.4 because it has bigger front element than nikon's (bigger filter size) and less CA or distortion i forgot. General_nic owns this awesome lens =D

Nikon is better, in SOME cases, not ALL. Don't keep misleading ppl by one liners >.<

dont simply guess weh, as it would mislead others..

most of the time nikon's is better. but there are still good third party lenses like tokina 11-18 f/2.8 also.

We are all talking about 50mm f1.4 la.. >.<
