i'm not familiar with Steam but just visited the website and found that the site is having a whopping price of US$6.79 ONLY for L4D??? you can only get softcopy but not the hard one?

Yeah, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. The promotion will end early Friday morning, so grab them while you can. And again yes, you'll have to download these games directly into your PC / Mac. No CD / DVD / box included. |

Is it possible that i backup my l4d file and give it to my friend who just bought l4d and copy the file from there so that he does not need to download?

My friend's having this problem.
I backed up my l4d game. And transferred it to his computer. Then I sent the game to him, he redeemed it. But in the steamapps folder, there is no "account" folder. So where does he paste the l4d folder? |
