maybe not be best thread, but need a little quick help.... anyone.
i've been trying to convert some dvds to mkv using some dwnlded stuff - to play on pohd . one gave mkv alright but file size same as dvd - waste of space. another one compressed it well but played at increased speed, can't use. can anyone give me a link to a proven application to convert and compress, keep subtitles as well? no need fanciful filters, etc, just basic to keep smaller files on HDD. thanks! |

Hi, i just bought a new playon HD2. After installation there is picture but no sound. I tried installing the latest firmware. Still no sound. Tried with another tv and hdmi cable still no sound. BUT i found out that when i plug out the HDMi and replug in again there is sound. But when i off the player and on back again, no sound again. So i have to replug the HDMi to get the sound back. What could be the problem? Any help is much appreciated

tested and confirmed that the AC adapter and remote control from POHD 1 can also be used for POHD 2 .... in fact the AC adapter are exactly the same.
realised that the remote control buttons are not 100% compatible ....... This post has been edited by Sting Ray: May 29 2011, 01:48 PM |

QUOTE(steven11 @ May 31 2011, 09:49 PM) A good choice, just make sure to get a good NAS as some NAS are known to have slower transfer rates. For NAS, better do some research online and get the best possible option that suits your budget. |
