Want to know, what's the difference between E72 and E72 Navi? I got a ribbon problem with my N95 8GB and probably wanna opt for E72 but quite blur with the e72 and e72 navi thing.

Help please anyone?

battery is excellent nearly 3 days in terms of longevity (wifi often, GPS occasionally)
camera is so-so, but since it has AF so it's quite good.

Navi comes with phone holder. That's all. Ovi maps comes with every E72

Once my phone was able to go on for full 6 days without charging, all 6 days under active stanby mode. Of course, that is with only about 2 hours max of talking on the phone and no GPS/wifi connection. Other than that, it lasts 3 days with heavy wifi, gps and talking. Pretty decent 1500mAh battery life we're talking here.

Anyways, i've got a few questions:
1. When using Garmin, after a few secs, my phone's screensaver mode/black screen comes into place, making it impossible for me to navigate. Any workaround this prob?
2. How to create quick-dials? I mean like, if you hold a key, it will automatically dial a number.
3. What's the maximum number of SMSes (inbox, outbox, and everything else) can the phone save?
4. Will data charges be incurred if i upgrade/check new firmware through FOTA?
5. Skype gives me problems Any other free voip suggestions?

but i saw my fren's status state "via ovi by nokia"....
how to do like that?

and to check if there is an update for you fone type "*#0000#" and check for updates(requires wifi or data connection)
"via ovi by Nokia" is for S6Ov5, coz there is proper FB for them, but not for s60v3.

1. you can disable the screensaver.
2. speed dial u mean?u have to enable it , ctrl panel > phone > speed dial , and assign the numbers
3. i've saved up to 2500 messages (inbox n outbox) but it's gonna be troublesome tho to look for messages.
4. yes (use wifi when possible to save cost)
5. try nimbuzz (multi-client)

or you can use the SW updater on the phone / OviSuite to check for new version(s).

1. Uh, do you mean that i'll have to disable the screensaver from the phone settings before i use Garmin, and enable it back after i'm done with Garmin? That would be quite troublesome eh?

in GMXT , tools > settings > display > backlight override = "Always On"

that should sort it.
and u don't need to disable screensaver. (sorry 'bout that)

Since me 1st time properly use smartphone,
I installed "WhatsApp" and it consume data even im not using. Gotto uninstall it since im using prepaid plan.

anyone face the problem of phone hang when SMS?

every once in a while..but i've come to terms to live with it..

Anyone could help me with flashing? I tried using JAF software but when i choose "use ini" option. It does not show E72 in the phone list.

i cant seem to shut my glaring flash for cameraphone, tho i av set the flash off,the flash will still blink a bit b4 taking the picture. the picture will come out nice then,but the mighty glare of the flash will hurt somebody's retina sooner or later.. please help....

Set to panorama mode in camera setting.
