Internet Settings:
--------------- Q: How to make sure everytime we surf the net, it will search for WLAN before go for 3G connection? A: Go setting-->Connection-->Destinations-->Options-->Default connection-->Put Always ask A: Put your Wireless as Priority 1. 3G internet as Priority 2. Under Settings -> Connection -> Destination i might have a better solution for this if you wanna avoid using your 3G connection. what i did was to actually create a new Destination called "Mobile Internet", and moved the 3G Internet option to this new destination. And it works a treat. QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Jul 1 2010, 08:28 AM) I am not sure why your email connect to the net without asking you first. But it seems that mine only retrieve email when i need it. What i did was +1, yup you can choose to do manual syncing..so i will sync my mail when there's Wifi around.. Go to Inbox> Option> Setting> Mailbox Settings> When to sync> Update interval > Manual |

QUOTE(chittyserv @ Jul 2 2010, 03:58 AM) Garmin E72, Why? Because: it's not about the processor, it's about the GPS chip being used,my N82 has a much slower processor than my E72, yet it's GPS lock-on is much faster..- Garmin : Updated Maps - E72 : Faster processor hence better performance. Make sure upgrade to v31 firmware before using |

QUOTE(bryancsk @ Jul 5 2010, 12:42 AM) hey guys is it , you must download the maps before the GPS will work > coz i recently formatted my phone not necessarily, GPS will work even without the map.but im squeezing my grey matter, thinking that u meant the GPS software(OviMaps/Garmin), if so, then yes ur GPS can still work.but if you are looking for directions then either software must be loaded to the fone with the propers maps loaded as well. |
