new clutch slip at high speed ???

Bros! i need help.. my car exhaust just emitted white smoke and the engine compartment has been noisy.. what is happening?

A new fan with fan blade + motor + installation cost how much for saga LMST? Btw..anyone can share with me his LMST fuel consumption..full tank how much? My LMST got 6 box on meter there if full..last time when still left 2 box..suddenly the fuel signal blinking..than i go made full tank..it cost me Rm73! Isn't normal?

Normal for LMST to get minimum 1liter per km. Do your own maths.

Iswara full tank is 45liters btw...

im using ori proton one.. one whole new set.. emm..got cek already.. feels weird rite..? hehe.. 130@4000 compare to last time.. for me.. i think its a big different.. hehe..

same car and same engine but different style driving and engine condition...to test ur LMST FC.....find large liquid container....fill like 5 litre....drive until fuel really empty......than fill up that petrol in car tank that you already fill in container.......write the current mileage you fill petrol than drive off untill the fuel empty again.......get the mileage measurement......how many KM you can drive with 5liter petrol....
this way MORE ACCURATE
caution!!!!!!!......fill again fuel in fuel container to avoid car dies in middle on the road with gas station far from your location

top speed is limited by gear ratio only when ur engine revs reaches rev cut (redline) at top gear...
if ur speed stay constant and ur revs could not climb anymore (before it come close to rev limit), its ur engine limitation...

define noisy... my car also noisy... but works fine....
white smoke means ur engine consuming engine oil... either valve seal or piston ring KO adi...

Is the correct battery for the Proton Iswara 1.3s, ( 1996 model),
NS60 or NS60L ?

I am now driving the above car which belongs to my brother, and
the last battery he installed, the "Auto Master", is an NS60L.

I was about to go out today at 7 pm, and found that this battery
had finally given out.


So I called James's father, who owns the Universal Auto parts shop
in Pudu. He was very kind to deliver an FB battery all the way
to my house in SS1, PJ, while on the way home to Klang. He came
with James.

He wasn't sure of the way there (difficult if you are unfamiliar), but
he managed to find it with my directions. It was past 8 pm by then,
but he was very nice to install it as well. (I am unfamiliar with installing
batteries in alarm-equipped cars, my last being an alarm-free vintage
Toyota KE70 !)

He never charged me anything for the delivery or installation.

However, he gave me an NS60. I asked if he was sure this was the
right one, and he replied in the affirmative, saying that this was the
specification in his catalog, and that he had also sold this model
to many Iswara taxi drivers over the years.

However, I noted that, after installing, the positive terminal, was
now facing outwards instead of inwards towards the engine as with
the NS60L previously, which caused it to be dangerously close to
the metal bracket of the chassis on its left, on which the battery tray
was mounted. I quickly stuck some black insulation tape against this
bracket just to be safe.

Secondly, the positive clamp and wire had to be bent awkwardly to
the left, which didn't seem to look natural.

Both positive and negative wires also had to be stretched a bit to
reach their new positions, since the terminals were now further.

This Malay mechanic behind my house also said the correct battery
for both the Iswara and Wira was the NS60L.

Then again, these references and links appear to mention that
the NS60 is the right one for the Iswara, and for the Wira as well.

On calling my auto aircon man in Kepong, Ah Tee, who used to
own an Iswara, he said the proper battery is the NS60L, but the NS60
may also be used as well without problems.

My saga lmst having problem with temperature. It will increase from normal temp but when I switch off the aircond then the temp will drop to normal.

Any idea what is happening to my car?

I've old Iswara, carb. engine, I'm going to send it to service tomorrow. What should I look for? What type of Engine Oil, what else need to changed.

standard service just go for standard mineral oil if its more than 5 years can do.
oil filter change is a must. air filter the mechanic will check for you and sparkplugs as well.

rotate the battery around... make sure the negative terminal is facing outwards... in this way u dont need to bend ur cable terminals awkwardly...

a few screws... very easy only to open... but hard to explain by words...

what good springs u can find from halfcut??...

as usual check ur cooling system... flush ur radiator... check for leaks... etc....
