QUOTE(Traveler @ Jan 24 2011, 03:37 PM) It comes with USB3 and eSATA. But to use eSATA, I would need an eSATA port multiplier PCIe card as my motherboard's eSATA ports are not port multiplier. It's cheaper to buy a USB3 card, which is what I did. I've not tested it myself but I seem to read (in a few posts here and there online), than USB3 is marginally faster than eSATA in real life use. Most of my transferring is done in hefty hundreds of GB chunks. Just curious... Your Probox is configured in RAID 5 or JBOD? Is the USB 3 connection able to see the RAID 5 / JBOD array?

Any good brand of external hard disk with anti-shock proof? Is the anti-shock proof 'real' or just a marketing gimmick? Heard that have this features is transcend, any other choices?

Anyone knows?
