i think lee means that if anything happen to your laptop..just call dell and they will fix the laptop for u at ur place..

Wow, nice temp there lee...so, still abusing the laptop i see ..any progress lowering down the temp of the palm-rest??

Still can't think of anything except using some fan below the palm rest

actually good for long terms usage, palm rest still warm ?

The right side is almost nonexistence...
The left side still got little, though might be just being sensitive

what is normal temperature for c2d p8700?

my idle temp is about 35C like dat..and it will jump to 60+C when playing games..i guess thats ok rite?

60c normal temp, i5 n i7 gaming reach 70c n above

i guess that's the thing u all have to sacrifice for a higher performance cpu..

Whoa, 19C, lower than room temp.

Can I ask some questions:

Is it always GDDR3 for ATI GFX card memory? Or is it usually just DDR3.

Its GDDR3, the "G" refers to Graphic card memory....
DDR3 is for the system ram....

and the cpu temp reading is off, not 19C anymore...

anybody have the "windows experience index rating" for p8700 xps 16 and i5 xps 16?
