Good luck ktyz doh.gif

Hey lee, need help from you again.
My ATI4670 now still version 8.x something, I wanted to update it to latest.

I tried installed every possible driver from amd site but when I check my driver details from Right Click Computer>Manage>Device Manager for the display adapter, it's still showing the driver dated back 2009.

Any idea how to update it manually?
Go to ATI file and search for the .inf folder?

@-kytz-, Try this after you connect the external monitor and the external monitor colour not good. Don't use the CCC.
Open Color Management, on Display 1, the "Use my settings for this device" should be ticked. Then change to Display 2, untick it, then tick it back. Then go to Display 1, untick and tick it, the colour for both monitor should be fine..
(don't remember much on the tick/untick procedure, later I double check with external monitor.)

@weingseen, you can install manually from the device manager, right click the HD4670, choose to update, then keep choose manual until you have the option "Have disk", then browse to the C:\ATi or C:\AMD then go to folder Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF
choose the inf there.
Or if you want latest driver, can install this http://downloads.guru3d.com/AMD-Catalyst-1...nload-2783.html
I tried and install fine on mine.

As for anyone want to update the Synaptics, can use this http://www.station-drivers.com/telechargem...rivers.com).exe

^sure.

@-kytz-, after pluggin external monitor via vga, the external becomes too yellow while the internal still fine.
So I open Color Management,
Change to Display 2,
Tick the "Use my settings for this device",
Then Untick it again,
The external monitor colour become normal.

Can anyone help me cry.gif

My laptop suddenly freeze with no reason when I play this online game (Talisman Online, note that I used to open more than 2 client per time) Before this, when I play the game, nothing happen just starting from last week and its keep happening until today. At first I fear the heat consume while I play, but nothing happen when I play other games(other liked COD:BO) or programs like autocad/adobe.

This freeze activity didn't happen immediately after I run the games but it will took like 30minute or 1 hour to freeze.

I'm using Dell XPS1645 with Intel i7 Q720@1.60GHz processor. 4.00GB RAM with window 7 64Bit.

Not yet. Is it because of the ATI? coz other games or even powerful games work fine without freeze. Anyhow, I'll try to tried other ATI driver for a try.

this is the general. I assume this is due to force restart I do everytime my laptop freeze doh.gif

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

I'll try to look for the time my laptop freeze afterward.

Seems like it might be the game bug, is it the latest patch ? or can you try with older patch ?
Did you updated any driver before any freezing occured?

Might want try to post the bug here
