Press and hold the battery power level indicator, the first time it got light, its indicating the power level, as you hold it longer, it might have light come out for the second time, the longer the indicator, the more damaged your battery..

I'm gonna try starcraft 2 tomorrow and see if there's any throttling going on.

I have compiled some minor problems accumulated so far. Hope Dell Malaysia has same level of service as Dell in USA.

There's an option to turn off battery charging. I removed it to facilitate better cooling.

the dell engineer came to my place and replaced the heat sink and the motherboard just now
after the replacement, the system was not stable (boot up screen keep flashing, media panel not working, taskbar cant show properly, etc) because the bios version of the new board was A07 doh.gif
after flashed to A11, everything works fine biggrin.gif

and the engineer told me that i can just send my laptop to their office to do check up because their office is located around my college area

u can go to battery meter (fn+F3) there to disable the battery from charging to protect the battery

o.O may be u can try to tweak the colour in catalyst... well, this is very personal, some user think that rgb's colour is over saturated but some think it's vivid.

Before i calibrate my screen, it's more to colder side. After calibrated, it became warm. Still not getting use to it. Quite a big changes.

Added on June 3, 2011, 12:53 pmBesides anyone experience like out of sudden your screen went black but your laptop is still on? I kept switch it on and off still no avail. Ended up i plug off the power source to the laptop, wait 1 or 2 minutes and the display went back on again.

Was the timing of black out consistent? If yest maybe due to power saving mode which you can access via Screen Saver -> Power... If no something is wrong.

Not consistent at all, just out of sudden it's out. I pressed all the keyboard button and nothing came out. Think of calling Dell regarding this problem.
