for your budget, sonicgear is one of the options. haters will hate... basher will bash.... no doubt... but in the end of the day its ur hard earn money....

anyways... just try it out 1st.... the only thing i dont like about sonicgear is its overpowering bass... other than that, tru my untrained ears... it should do u good...

and dont forget to test sennheiser hd201 also... it range about rm110 retail...

well.. if u already listen to one of the best... my advise is dont compare hd590 sound to rm100++ headphone price range lol!

I have a Soundmagic PL50. They have bass that is more into quality rather than quantity, good detail and quite revealing, small and comfortable, great for vocals. With them you get what you paid for I believe.

i'm stuck between the M50 and AD700. i listen to a fair bit of michael buble and 30 seconds to mars, those sort of music. tempted to use M50 on the go but also tempted with the airiness of the AD700. help!

can enlighten me from most basic (rm 100+) to most awesome ones (around rm 1k)
