Hi guys, sorry if this have been mentioned before, 45 pages to read, im gonna go haywire lol.

Anyways, after installing os4 on my 3gs, i found several problems:
1. battery drains almost 2x faster than the os3
2. inconsistent coverage (already explained in the official site, so thats fine)
3. quite a number of my apps dont work properly, to name a few (bandit nation mission jam up, god finger crashes, straits times & discovery news awfully slow, etc etc
4. when u switch to play videos to mp3 to video quickly then scrolling n play files, ipod crashes

Well mostly are app crashes and i of course i suspect app instability but just wanna make sure r u guys experiencing the same thing?

p/s: by the way, multitasking on the os4 is more like opening up recently/previously opened program lol mane ade multitasking

I lost tethering option when enable it for the first time. Will the tethering option appear after restore to factory setting? If so, will it disappear again once i restore from backup? I am still facing tethering option when perform the above step.

Any clue?

no ler, bro...multitasking on anything including PC, notebook ot phone will use lots processing power, thus will drain power abit faster..its not dat only iphones i'm talking about..if u dun believe, try get a notebook, open more programs & see how fast your battery finish, then try it by open lesser programs,..you'll knoe wut i'm trying to say....

and iPhone4 is with bigger battery so dat to withstand more processing & giving more usage time to user..

Need some help here, I'm trying to upgrade my iphone 3G to iOS4. The whole process takes quite a while, but the most annoying part is the itunes keep pop-up during the process. I accidentally press "enter" and that cancel the process of backing up the phone, so I try again. The second time, I cancelled it during the restoration process after the upgrade. And now most of my apps is missing. cry.gif

Not much options in the itunes now, does the "restore" button restore back the apps I backed up earlier or restore to completely clean phone? icon_question.gif

Person? I'm pretty sure it's Maxis because they were the only ones who announced the arrival of iPhone 4 in Malaysia.

Just got my iPhone 4.

DIY a micro-sim from my Moscow sim card. Faced a problem. Lucky i didn't use my malaysia one..haha..
It activated fine but when i put it on the table the reception fluctuates from full bar tp 1 bar..sometimes to no service.

I think maybe i cut wrongly lol..
