i am a maxis set iPhone 3G user and i updated to iOS4 and feel sluggish in everything and it eats memory so much!
Then i thought of restore to 3.1.3 but at last it failed due to an error but i forgot the error number,now i gotta restore to iOS4 again.
pity me and gotta bear with the slow iOS4 at the moment until i found a solution to revert back to 3.1.3.
anybody her able to help out?TQ

really?any features not working well except the MISSING multitasking?

the home screen wallpaper is missing too.
so far everything is working fine, like browsing using 3g connection... didn't try the mms and internet tethering as i seldom mms.

Don't even bother to google for solution even though your phone lags?

weird.. i using IOS4 just fine with no problem whatsoever.. maybe coz urs is 3G and jailbreak phone ?

I think u need to set it as fresh phone after upgrade to iOS 4.0.

errr, guys.

if 3GS jb-ed with spirit and on 3.1.3 wanna upgrade to IOS4, u all said have to restore. but when click restore it will auto go to IOS4? my friend cant restore to 3.1.3.

if u have the separate ipsw for 3.1.3, you can alt+click on restore and choose the file to be installed.

However, if you accidental are already on iOS4, the only way to go back to 3.1.3 is if you saved your shsh file earlier.

i think you need to replace the iOS4 firmware to 3.1.3 in this folder....

C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

When you touch/cover the antenna of a phone, signal will drop. Normal phone also got this problem is the antenna is covered with hands~

I m doing restore one more time.. let see it will help with the lag issue or not. If you have any idea, please let me know too.. thx

ahh!!! so many major issues...there was also many problems when 1st iphone 2g come out..still, iphone tops all phone sale till today...

come on, guys...all phones hav their own pros & cons...its not like if this issue is real, u guys not gonna buy it...lol

i'm sure big company like Apple wont do stupid things to harm their reputation...just dat some nosy people who like to make fuss over some small issue..

i'm using nokia 5800xm rite now...1 1/2 years & still going strong...there was time when ppl keep saying its made in china, plastics cover like junk, this & that..mine, i got no prob..even dat i just updated firmware to the latest last nite..feels like iphone..lol


dun misunderstand dat i'm asking u guys to buy 5800XM..me myself wan iPhone 4 too...heheheheh

actually u can prevent this by putting on the bumpers that apple brought out as an accessories for the iP4. so yeah, nothing is preventing ppl from getting the iP4 (:

well from i notice, i think Apple do know it will affect the signal, that well they introduce BUMPER.
apple always left out this and that , so that the more apps developer will come in to fill the hole ..
developer are earning from it, so there will be more and more developer for apple =)

that reception issue kinda give me a reason not to buy it... (main reason is no money now can find a reason not to buy it to convince myself) LOL
