Barteria-could you tell me roughly the steps you took to restore it, is it via the ipsw file then you restore from iTunes?.

anyone knows whether iPhone 3G will have the local notification thingy? coz i really like to have this feature without having to use internet for the push notification..

Just to let you guys know that iPhone 4 reviews are up. Engadget.com wrote a detailed review on it.

*.part .. coz it's partially downloaded? or your download client didn't remove the *.part extension once it finished? check again the size of the file.

yeah, 1st u download the OS file at the beginning of this forum. then open itunes, plug in ur phone, hold Shift n click on "Restore" button, then find ur ipsw file and select it. thats all. the rest is done by itunes n then u can sync back with ur old back up or make it fresh new iphone.

local notification.. will give notification without having to online.. just like the one in the original calendar app

The iphone 4 is definitely scratchable

anyone else noticed how the camera snaps really fast now?

A minor improvement but it makes alot of difference especially during the photo frenzy moments
