I can't sync my contact either from Outlook or Windows Contact after upgrade to iOS 4.0

u are not suppose to discuss about that app which u illegally obtain. so yah. u wont find yr answers here

Guys..this is the main reason why jailbreak is not allowed in this forum due to these forumers not taking heed to LYN rules and iPhone subforum rules and continue to post on piracy.

Please keep reporting these forumers and i hope to get thier account suspended for good if they continue to break the rules.

u using 3g right? as far as im concern, the screen orentation lock+ipod control is on the multitasking bar....

so tough luck then....

what do you mean by lousy? it's not even there! but i like the idea of a toggle to let which app can run in the background

we can hold off comments regarding multitask for now until there are more softwares taking advantage of it. then someone can compare iOS 4 multitask with android and see which is more effective.

again, no jailbreak apps discussion please. previously this was allowed, but any jailbreak discussion almost always lead to piracy discussion and we dont want that.

hahaha...lots of functions & good things not happening to your 3G or 3GS? dats y its time they release iPhone 4...

my opinion, it'll be better after some later updates..

If anyone has the cellular data/3g problem... and you have a mac, you can try this solution. I think it works. Too bad I can't find that string in my backup folder. I'm on WinXP.

for 3g if ur phone is already jailbreak you can get the multitask from cydia
sory you can get info from outside or GOOLE IT dun ask here about jb

Yes, finally I managed to upgrade my iPhone to the iOS4... Ive done with a lot of passion, and hoping that nothing will go wrong as Ive experienced for my Hubby's update the day before. Yes, I managed to do it within less than an hour! Phew... Everything are in order, my sms are there, emails and every single applications are in order...

The only problem is all the pictures in my iPhone is blur.. why izzit ya? Anyone got problem with it too? How do I do about it? Please help.. thanks.

dont worry infact some of the "early updaters" those who updated on that release night itself had issue with the pictures being blurred, what they did was to
un-sync the photo's and re-sync it back and it worked for them...

do try it and feedback see if it works for u...

finally upgraded to the new os. took like an hour to download it and after that everything was a breeze. my ip was on v3.1.3 previously and wasnt jbed. im a digi user. so far im liking the new features especially the folders option. i used to have 9 pages on my ip. but now, managed to reduce it to 2 pages.

and as mentioned somewhere in this thread. some saved contact numbers does goes missing. after looking into it, i found out that this happens if u have saved a contact with 2 numbers saved under the same category eg ur friend have 2 hp numbers and u saved both under mobile category. strange glitch indeed. i had to edit 1 number under mobile and the other one as others.

Just reset the network configuration in your iPhone will do, I've had my done
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings

Guys, i know this is really a noob question... After reading from V1 n V2 i still cant figure out how to set the MMS settings and i cant find the FAQ in the 1st page... I cant send mms after upgrading from OS4.

Anyone kind enough not to frame me and guide me step by step??? Btw this is my 1st iphone...

Give this a try.. if you disable cellular date.. Then, MMS is disable.. Pls check is cellular data turn on?
