conclusion is, custom pipe with fine tuning is the best. Bee Hock custom pipe is more for good top speed, but low end lacks a bit. If you change to bigger manifold, perhaps u can get better mid range (good for cruising).

Charge bro.. When you still got royal purple ? because I want book 1 bottle after my last break in..
I'm just back from doing my 3rd break in... the EO was still clear... not dirty at all.. meanz my engine eh thing already clear till 7788 liao right ?
because last 2 time.. the oil very dirty..
AND !! My top speed look like 120 nia... T_T or I haven't pull finish the throttle? ~.~

Perhaps end of this month I have new royal purple stock. I'd suggest you to use semi-synthetic for another 1000km before going straight to full synthetic. You can keep the Royal Purple until your odometer hits 2000km.

huhu the first 20 minutes with the royal purple full syn EO is good. feel the exel is lighter and much responsive. of cuz i havent lap till full yet but i can know this is good stuff!

the block is ready, now need to get the cylinder head to match the block. I guess it will take another week or 2. It's ok, you guys can proceed without me smile.gif

Ok. Took apart my carb once again, 3rd time in a week. Removed all the jets, cleaned them up, replaced the stock jet with 17.5 and mainjet from to stock 200. Mainjet needle set to one notch higher (leaner), to delay fuel mixture for about 1/16th of a throttle and make it leaner to 3/4 of throttle.

Air screw doesn't seem to have any effect on idling. Can't even stall the engine, but I leave it to 2.5 turns out anyway... took it for a ride, and it's all good now. smile.gif

First time smelling burnt fuel instead of watching petrol gas spewing out of my exhaust pipe, haha...

Changed rear sprocket from 39 to 35, making 120kmh @ 7000rpm @ 6th gear. This will be very good for my highway trips. Hopefully can break my previous record of 11liter to 380km (PG - Sg Besi petrol station) smile.gif

So you mean after changing the custom pipe still need to change bigger manifold ah? I thought the custom pipe comes with custom manifold liao? rclxub.gif

Yesterday I discovered something on calvins bike, which is shifting gear without pressing the clutch, is there any pros and cons for doing tat??? Btw before and after calvin change his pipe there is a weird feeling when ride on his bike... I cant feel any power or pressure, it just runs smoothly... Is tat becuz of da CDi or maybe all ES version react like this???
