porting is the most important, and exhaust must be able to match. it can either make ur powerband godlike or screw up the whole thing. My friend is real pro in it. He is very detail, and personally I found his porting and exhaust tuning is slightly better than Bee Hock.
Today not yet drift, just 70% familiar with that car. But it is fast enough liao tongue.gif

I would say, Bee Hock is very experience in race and drag tuning, and my friend is very experience in street race tuning. U know Ah Pek fr Bee Hock shop right? He sit in my friend's Putra before.

That Putra can go 200kph easily along Jelutong Highway, and race with Superbike like R6 on Penang street (at night when no car la). The art of his tuning is... he is still using standard 1.8L engine with original camshaft, see how good his porting and exhaust system is flex.gif

now i know... hah.. street racing and track racing is totally 2 different thing... thats why u are lucky to have 2 frens who knows in both things... lucky...

i think ah pek also scared sit inside his putra... LOL!

I remember that time raining, Ahpek, me and another friend sits in his car (4 person). 1 Satria GTI modified challenge him (with 2 person inside), my friend still win, LOL.

Street racing focus a lot of mid-low to mid-high rpm, top rpm is less important. Its not like drag or race tuning, where the racer can always use high and redline rpm. Why??? bcoz on street we always gotta brake and accel due to traffic or corners. Tat's why u see my bike top speed ok ok only, but pickup is really good (and I m going to make it better soon flex.gif )

woot, if like tht u bike ma like an mini superbike if u hv tune it done all ur engine problem.

true also bro charge.. penang road street bike is good.. but if its my area.. streetbike get pawned.. haha! highway too much.. LOL! easily pawned.. but if ur lc can reach 140km/h GPS.. ur bike ade one of the fastest liao! LOL! even rxz will stop challenge u.. if u throttle time they throttle together.. but still equivalent in accel.. they will get scared a bit... biggrin.gif

wat is TS..? oh yea.. top speed... different place.. different story.. my place.. u stick to accel.. u die also.. cause mostly meet opponent in highway...LOL...thats why i wan both.. accel + speed..

guyz can v get both i mean a better accel n very gud top speed...im a frequent highway user...but i dowan to lose ma performance at street oso....ma motorbike latest result is recently i race with fz afta england game n we draw..

haha, making low end torque has no fun, bcoz the bike sure kenot go more than 6k. Midrange is 4-stroke strength, its better to play there, so u got a very good powerband from mid-low to mid-high.

*side story: today js finished tuning a MIVEC with a custom porting work. Spent 3 days to play around with the exhaust pipe setting and power commander (piggyback ECU tuning). Teluk Bahang short burst from U-turn can reach 100kph+  icon_rolleyes.gif

61 mm bore?no scare boom meh?if lc put 56mm bore i also scare boom...haiz...between the 0-1000 beter no go more that 100kmh is in gps or meter on the bikes?
