hhaa... btw.. the downside of lc is that... when ur going uphill or something.. NEVER EVER rate the bike 10/10.. for me.. i would rate it 2/10.. way worse than ex5(1st version).. that ex5 rated 6/10 over lc which is 2/10.. sorry.. but this is the truth.. haha..

my college in bukit jambul.. so i'm doing that little climbing.. my bike already choked itself..

for me.. a good bike going uphill is like a car..

once u drop a gear.. the car would go uphill with ease..

but with lc.. u drop a gear.. the rpm still drop like babi.. LOL..

wat i'm saying is that.. once u go uphill.. if it can't go.. u would throttle it a lot.. which in hand.. increase ur fc.. so.. i consider it.. not good for a bike.. even original ex5 with 100cc provides better torque... zzz

Looks like someone is planning for a powerful bike soon hehe..

Btw aaron, if you got time try for some ride on Kips.. I'm always going against the sbk riding coz it's not good for the back. But Kips is not that slopey.. No I mean seriously, I actually tried one b4 n I found the riding position ok compare to CBR.. N if compare to the NSR RR.. hehe much more comfortable !

n the price for normal kips is less than 8kplus + 1st party insurance. 9kplus for the SE "green kawasaki theme". For those always going highway, I think something that can cruise 120kmph easily without stressing engine can consider this bike, n if you need to have sudden surge in power to take over big car or getting away from danger this is the bike ! brows.gif

Zelk... have u make up your mind yet ? Fz or Lc ?? whistling.gif

btw Aaron, Bukit Jambul hill not that slopey compare to Balik PUlau woh.. how come your bike perform like that ? Weird le..

I do notice and I'm very sure when going to a FULL STOP during slope and trying to go from gear 1, it's a bit struggle but if the bike on a move to slow down it shouldn't be like this..

for i.e. going up hill with gear 4 and a little slope like Bkt Jambul, drop down gear 3 already got enuf power going woh.. then going thru hill like Balik Pulau, drop till 2nd gear already can overtake car going 60kmph (car speed).. at least that's how my mom's LC n my ES performed..

i dunno who can even borrow me a kips to try on. i don't even have friends riding this type of bike.. except bro alex.. the biggest bike i've ride so far is jaguh and tzm only..i've never ride anything beyond that.. so.. therefore.. i'm willing to ride any type of bike no matter how powerful it is or not.. riding bike needs courage.. if u have the courage.. u'll always be fine with it.. =)

Added on August 14, 2010, 8:45 pmand also.. lc wan fuel meter seems to me like got problem wan.. LOL.. or mayb the digital meter too accurate.. LOL.. yesterday pump oil.. rm6.. ful till tank mouth.. then on ignition.. it indicates 10/10 bar.. then ride time.. it dropped to 9/10 bar.. LMAO..

discomfort is normal la, just like my ex5 panjak bukit. the sound now more nicer coz big manifold. if last time will be like an lion roaring loud.

my biggest bike was kap chai tht i ride b4 & test it.

does it really full till mouth coz some time when u shake it. it still drop deeper de the petrol.

Aaron, i duno if you realise this.. LC fuel meter n FZ also same.. not very accurate de.. so pls dun rely on meter esp when hitting line below red line.. Trust me I kena b4, >.< ended up pushing bike >.< gai.. I pump 4RM the meter show full.. I pump 5 also show full.. I pump 6 also show full. I think there is pressure inside. But when already used the fuel, it drop.. Even last time my ex5 n modenas same.. even my cbr.. hmm hmm.gif

tmr i calling again 4 confirmation. now i'm using c&g eo RP last time use motul 5100 de grade 4get liao. the sound was like an power tht can't come out fast, so after change bigger manifold the sound no more liao.

I using 10-40 twice already. Accel got. Goin uphill.. The carb feeling like useless..

through my experience... stock lc normal road condition is superb.. but climbing hill part is superb to so so... try ride urself la.. going uphill time... pull the throttle slowly.. instead of sekali gus pull to 3/4.. then u will know wat i mean.. if sekali gus pull throttle.. that is wasting oil liao.. LOL..

and yea.. about the fuel thingy.. don ever believe the fuel meter... sucky.. LOL.. my 4/10 bar is = 2mm above the E..

why wanna buy ori exhaust..? i don't think so got ppl selling.. cause ori exhaust is good to keep.. if anything happen to aftermarket exhaust.. there is always stock exhaust for spare..

Aaron what u r saying is true.. but LC power comes on when reaching certain rpm.. n when hill climbing, you need a bit more than that too.. I think most kapchai is like that.. I always go balik pulau de so I also know how the feeling hehe.. but this is a very good info for others who got cbr.. cbr is diff.. hill climbing is great.. a lil throttle + gear drop already can do wonder. but if u think about the rpm theory.. a bit weird.. maybe cbr got bigger cc n higher hp which make up for it ? Hmm..

Ori lc exhaust is very exp.. i heard around 400RM >.<

btw that KTM125cc is coming to our market next year.. going for RM20k RCP.. phew. but it's a damn powerful small cc naked bike

Like me loh... buy a cheap 2T sports bike, restore to stock condition, then can be very happy liao...

A good condition one is 1.5k-2k for KIPS, or 2.5-3.5k for TZM.
Or, Yamaha SS and Suzuki RG/RGV are good bargains at <RM1500, with spare parts still widely available.

If want 4-stroke, a good condition ZZR250 (same engine as 250R) is < RM6k...

when u feel half throttle and full throttle has no effect, exhaust problem -- the air flow out of engine with half throttle = air flow out of engine with full throttle. That's why I hate original LC pipe, too much restriction until quiet like shit. tongue.gif
