oh, I made a mistake about DiASil... it's not a layer, but the whole block is made of DiASil... I confused it with NCC (Nickel Ceramic Coating) that's used in TZM blocks.

Moral of the sign0006.gif story, you can rebore LC block all you like, but never a TZM block... haha.

compare the drawing, the top one is a straight intake, the bottom one is a funneled intake.

the picture you post is the correct funnel. Only that in Charge's application, it's to funnel air.

Added on July 29, 2010, 3:41 pmPorting and polishing - port - make hole bigger. polish - make hole shinier... what hole? intake or exhaust also can.

firestorm has immediate effect due to different kind of design, but the effect is even better after 1 week.
add 1 more: port and polish. besides this, need a real good air intake system in order to add response. BH did a good job, but I am still not satisfied with what BH had done, will self-research and see how to improve, as I am going to lower down the engine compression for longer durability.

tat's why u see me experimenting with air funnel
BH told me it will make the bike heavy bcoz need to add jetting size.. so i'll prove it with my kelisa 1st brows.gif
*
@Charge: Do you have reading material on Firestorm? I googled it found "water plug" and hydrogen booster. Does it have to do with multiple spark?
With the reduced compression, what's your target redline? 10k?

@Itsuki: the summary on racing CDI.

firestorm is a custom made product by my friend's friend who was once a Motorcross racer. No website available. He mentioned the product is money back guaranteed, means you don't feel the difference, then just return the booster.
*
what is it? got wiring diagram? Is it connected to the Coil primary (12v from CDI) or secondary (High Tension cable to spark plug)?
I just wanna understand if it's a totally different animal than Stromberg.

AFAIK, Stromberg helps to fire the plug 'multiple times' instead of once, to improve performance and FC.
I used to have one, and when touch the body of Stromberg, can feel it 走电.

redline 9.5k?? hahaha, u got racing CDI ady right? tongue.gif
you can try install the coil yourself... just don't make mistake
it is exactly like stromberg, but the inner design and components are better in quality.
stromberg 6 months warranty and the spark is strong.
firestorm lifetime warranty and the spark is stronger. This one no 走电 afaik.

bro, u wanna see how it performs? tmr 10.30am we'll be doing for bizzy and calvin at pantai jerejak there. u free mah come lo, my friend's super Putra will be there.

Added on July 30, 2010, 6:49 pmfuh... yoshi 26mm, I'll save up $ for that carb!!

i wan to ask~how to convert lc front disc brake to two?just like the big bike hv dual disc brake...how can do that?
*
there are few ways, depending on your budget:
1. Find Yamaha big bike rims, together with fork and steering set. Just this two, will cost you another LC. Many places can find, but obviously this forum only for small bike. tongue.gif You'll also need to change rear rims, else bike will look weird... this will cost you another LC...

2. Buy new sport rims, ask welding to put on nuts on the other side of the rim, and then you mount the 2nd disc. For the brake caliper, need to ask kedai motor engineers to do it. This is cheap on material, but heavy on labor cost...

3. Go Thailand, find ready made rims with 2 discs.

I mean a set of tools XD But I preferred FireStorm, the name sounds nicer, packaging nicer, and it has life time warranty  rclxms.gif That one need to replace 1 or 2 years not worth it...

You just need to borrow? What you need?
I have screwdrivers, a tesco toolbox, a set of spanner 10-24, allen keys.

hmm this power booster thing so similar like firestorm ? Hmm.. but so cheap ? Reliable ? sometimes I'm skeptic with cheap stuff.. hehe
*
Stromberg is cheaper than this, and many here thinks it's a good thing.

I'm not a user, just bumped across this page when searching for images of LC135 ignition coil, wondering what it looks like.
My RGV one is small nia, like a matchbox, made by Nippon Denso, Japan.

I see you all are aiming at modding your LCs to tapau bigger bikes? Kawa 250R?
