The android rom is on card. During the first run install, some files will be install in phone memory. These files will be overwritten when you change the android rom.

When you boot into android from windows, system will look for the folder android on card. It will then execute and boot android from there. So you can only have one android folder. If you want to change android rom, just delete the folder android from card and replace it with the new android folder extracted from the new rom zip file

Since already hspl,  You can now flash radio. If you want you can do it again.
What radio version are you on now. Is it 2.&&&&&&.050 or 0.51? Make sure you choose right version
*
My one is 2.06.51.07 currently, which one do you suggest I upgrade to?

Radio 0.51 ?? This is tricky

In this case , I suggest you do a HSPL3 . As yours is TMOUS set , check your phone Flash ROM size which have 2 types: 512 MB or 1024 MB
Settings/System/Device/Hardware

Different HSPL steps as follows: Choose right one or you will brick your phone

512 MB rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
1024 MB rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653614

Then only select radio : any radio above 2.08 will do . Choose the one with 0.50.

Radio choices here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
If you want latest, select 2.12.50.02 - actually is your choice. You can test several radios and decide which is best.

Please do as I am interested to know too. I know in the early days of the Android on HD2, there were 2 class of developers. One that install all the Android files on the root of the SD card , while the other installed it in a foldet "Android". I have tested both. Now the method of installing in the root is discontinued as it has many bugs. In such a case I believe you can have 2 types as during boot, the phone will scan the root first for haret.exe and if not found , will look up in the folder "Android"

Based on my understanding, such a scenario you will have 2 Android builds - maybe I am wrong

Can you just see this screenshot that I took from my phone..

5. The program will now check the usb connection and enter bootloader screen (tri colour)
*You can select between SPL2.08.0000 or 2.08.HSPL. This is to avoid people with 1024LEO's installing an incompatable version and bricking their device*

so which one should I choose?

then,

Rename the extracted file to "RUU_Signed.nbh" and flash with the CustomRUU: it won't hardreset your device.

CustomRUU? rclxub.gif please guide me..

I read back your comments , please clarify this statement : There is a "Launch Android" When i hit it, it flash to Android

Do you have this before you flash Android ?? I know some Windows rom cooks now built in this option to their rom. I read the Energy rom details, there is no mention of such feature. If so, then this will flash the rom which is inside the Android Folder . If this is soo, the manual process of clrcad and haret is not necessary

I have mentioned numerous times and is mentioned in all the Android rom links, when you select CLRCAD , there will be NO response at all. Dont worry about it. Just tap CLRCAD once, then Haret.exe

OR you can try flash Enegry version of  Android rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733649

Make sure : Radio above 2.08 and your SD card is fresh formatted  not using normal format but use the SD Format tool I recommended. The SD format is crucial step to eliminate hanging, freezing and lagging issues

Can i know what is the recommended SD format tool ?

Please check first your flash rom size , then just follow the link I have given you to install the correct HSPL

Please read here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477 to understand what is flashing : All the ABC's and FAQ of flashing is here and I don't think I can do a better job than the author explaining it

CustomRUU.exe is the program file you run to execute the flashing process

RUU_Signed.nbh is the flash file. Some rom cooks will auto show their flash file as this ; while some will show it as others to show their signature eg Chuckyv24.nbh . So you need to check the nbh file name and rename it first before flashing - same reasoning for Radio files too

Your broadband of course cannot have call as it is only
Data enabled. You have to subscribe to voice calls but some
Broad band service don't support. Check with Maxis _

mine too. i have 3 batteries now. but i guess it's normal. palringo, outlook activesync, location service, google latitude ... maybe some other applications. last time when i don't have all these running on my x1, the battery would last 1 day, and when i use internet on my x1, it would last just few hours. so i guess with all these applications constantly connecting, then it should be no surprise.

talking about batteries, momax 1100ma last longer than stock (1230ma). stock last longer than andida 1600ma

so the lower the capacity, the longer it last. smile.gif

The higher the capacity, the longer it last. Andida must have overrated their capacity for marketing purposes.
