this game is bloody stupid now. it is world of russian tanks.

the kv-2 can blow m6 with 1 shot. might as well dont play.

seriously, anyone who wants to play this game, please start with russian, dont make the mistake i made with american tanks.

paper armour, guns NOWHERE near russian tanks, meet 1 v 1, time to get blown.

1 on 1, usually usa tanks will win actually. ussr tanks tends to have slow turret traverse, gun dispersion. track + dmg it while circling, and make use of the ground elevation... that said, ussr tanks looks overpowered due to it's the easiest nation to play with. fight a good german heavy user for example, and you'll see most of the shoot from ussr tanks bounces.. ^^;

KV-2 derp gun ... fear by all

KV with derp is dangerous.... only from close range. (see kv with short turret- dont go close)

Russian tanks got armour but turtle slow, all you got to do is shoot it from far or move quickly flanking it.

most of the time, when u r playing heavies, u are facing with that derp cannon face on

If you hiding at corner...when kv-2 come in shoot his rail...in that closed range 1 shoot the rail sure broken....then that KV-2 cannot move already.

My VK 3601H eat KV-1 and KV2 as breakfast.......but facing KV-3 // IS tank that 122mm big cannon really Kanasai my superior medium tank.

US tanker here, used the:

M3 Lee -> M4 -> M4A3E2 -> M6 ->T29

It's true the M6 is a really painful tank to use, but when you get to the T29, it all becomes worthwhile. Are you using the 90mm gun? That gun is what makes the M6 different from the T1 or E2. Able to penetrate nearly everything at its tier and lower.

Also with the M6 you are more mobile than the KV, and if you find yourself in a bad place you could go somewhere else. Do not go in alone, or act like a big dog. You are not. Go in like a medium, and support your team's tanks. You are not a frontline tank.

im now grinding for the t32, the t29 can barely make any $ with the 105mm..

Speaking about money earning...nth beat KV.....even you die without any killing also can 12k per round. If kiiling 3 above can get 25k.....

Speaking as a Russian heavy user (yes, I know, I'm playing an "easy" tank), the USSR tanks are one thing, they are made to take a beating and dish out damage. The problem that all the KV series (except KV-1S and KV-13) suffers though is extremely poor mobility and to a certain extent, inaccurate guns. You don't know how good your US tanks have with your powerful engines and accurate guns. They may not be able to run circles around me, but they certainly are versatile. If I were to be stranded in the middle of nowhere and the base is being capped, chances are I won't be able to make it in time. 0.42 accuracy does not help with long range shooting. US Heavies can do all that and more. (You should think of them as super-mediums, rather than proper heavy tanks.)

So yes, if you're facing a Russian heavy, don't be a big goddamn hero and try to solo them. I eat lone T29s and M6s with my KV-3 for breakfast. (especially if I can brawl with them.)

Only the early US heavies don't act like heavies. (T1 HT, M6) But it gets better from the T29 onwards. The T32 is a pretty tough cookie if you know how to handle it. Even then, you should go hulldown (hiding your lower half) whenever possible, since the defining feature of US Heavies are weak hulls, strong turrets.

I disagree. IS' front sloped hull is impossible to be penetrated by most guns of its tier. This is true of the tanks of the later IS series as well. Tiger tanks hulls cannot be penetrated as well, if they are angled.

closed range war such as inside City.....hulll amour all useless. range too closed...big gun all can penetrade

i start with american.armor like paper.but have good gun.
