Assuming you're still talking about Tier VII battles, try facehugging with your IS or KV-3. 50-70% the enemy shot will ricochet.

Well, each nation's TD has their own unique capabilities. Best if you play each of them to find out if they suit you.

American turreted TD = very mobile, okay guns, no armour to speak of. They start to get more heavily armoured and less mobile starting from the T25/2. T28 Prot. and T95 are heavily armoured and are reduced to a heavy tank speed.
Russian TD = Big guns, SU-76/SU-85/SU-85B have no armour to speak of. Later tiers (SU-152/ISU-152/Obj 704) have better frontal amrour.
German TD = Great all-rounder from what I seen.

I can't speak for the French TD or the American non-turreted TD, but they seem to be similar to the German line.

Renault UE 57 is very cute to play with though.

get russian, it is easy to use, straight forward big gun and thick steel.

and easy to earn $ too. americans are rubbish.

Magically I am able to pen the IS frontally from a hundred meters away with my 105mm. Funny. Must be really lucky then. I never really considered the Russian tanks as threats to my t29. IS is easily penned, and kv3s have certain weakspots if you know where to find them

Note, I said "most guns of its tier". Not all.

105mm is a beast, make no mistake.

and yet, amazingly, a Priest managed to bounce the shell! wow!

Which tank is easy to use? Seems like i can't afford medium & heavy tank now. Should i go for light tank T-46 or tank destroyer SU-76?

Heavy tanks only start in Tier V for the Russian tree. (KV-1 for the T-26 line.) Medium tanks starts in Tier IV and Tier V. (T-34 in the BT tanks line, T-28 for the T-26 line, though calling T-28 a medium tank is quite debatable.)

Edit: You might as well start with the T-46. You'll need it to unlock the heavy tanks line anyway.

3 tanks, all German. JagPanther, Tiger and VK2801 German have the best accurancy, good for sniping.

Arrr... the tech tree is a little confusing.

Should i start research from the existing MS-1 all the way down the tree or just buy a new tank, T-46 or BT-7?

Which tree line is most interesting? T-26 or BT-2?

Depends on what do you want. T-26 line leads to the heavy tanks. (has a branch to the SPG line.) BT-2 leads to the medium tanks. (With a branch off to the tank destroyer line.)

well, the question is which playstyle do you like best? XD

-german specialize in armor, and high penetration/accurate gun. they tend to have the most hp.
-german heavy tend to be slow, armored, have lotsa hp and with accurate gun but so-so dmg gun. they're good at mid to long range fights.
-german meds are ment for support, with good gun and penetration (in fact the top tier med e-50 have one of the best gun in game).

-ussr specialize in sloped design, low profile tanks, and highly dmging gun.
-ussr heavy starts off slow, with scary gun. later on you can choose between the faster heavy (and sloped armored) or the lumbering kvs. in general, they're good at assaulting and fighting in close/mid range.
-ussr meds tend to have gun with fast reload, used as support. while the tier 8-9 are king of brawling, killing most lone enemy with ease.

-usa specialize in high rof (rate of fire), turret armor and mobility (the t95 tree is an exception).
-usa heavy starting from t29 have a thick turret armor that is quite hard to penetrate by enemy it's tier. they have decent to good gun while having a really low hull (body) armor.
-usa meds are agile, with fast turret and fast firing gun. they're good at circling enemy and are quite mobile. they have paper thin armor.

-french specialize in mobile tanks, and auto loader (shells loads in magazines so you can easily fire 3-6 shots b4 needing to reload).
-french heavy (the higher tier ones) is as mobile as other nation meds with low armor and good gun. (and auto loader).
-french meds are scary pest that's speedy and scares the slower tanks with it's hit n run.
-french lights are flanker, supporting fire. they, unlike any other nation lights arent ment for scouting.

...well that's the gist of it. might be mistake here n there but hope it helps. ;P

My personal......H35 are my most fav tank.

Kickass amour......my personal record are 8 kill.

Only ussr t26 can damage it....whole game i just avoid t26 only.....others...lol......can't even damage my hp...only can damage suspension/rail
