dunno la... i think they want to cut the electricity cost.... coz if u don book they wont switch on the light at nite... if at evening dont have book, only if u want to play at nite.... same with k10 court and kdse, and ktc... last time student can switch on the spot light them self, every time want to play, now cant edi... all light go out after 12.... used to play futsal till 3 am, and lepak at k9 arked till 6am....

i know, cam bangang one last time those courts at k10 and ktc, after play liao no one bother to off

as i said lo, now got newer ones ady. sometimes they cut i feel liek not nice also.

i wonder, how lecturer setup n do questions for test and final exam? izit they diy the question or copy it from question on ref books or they took it from test bank? when i was in utmkl, i saw the past year papers, i can say the question has their own repeating season or flow but it was different in skudai. im referring here to my core subjects and i can say its hard to see question repeating again. any input guys?

certain question the lecturer did copy from past year exam, maybe because the question is highly suitable for understanding... While certain question they make it 'DIY' in just a minute. When the times comes for marking the paper, they would ask their postgraduate student to solved the question for the lecturer to mark the answer. If we were in bad luck, maybe us the postgraduate who have to mark you guys paper. And it gave 'US' a bad headache for a week due to eye damage reading lousy handwriting of you people.

sometimes DIY questions can be too damn hard... haha

aiyakk...very embarrassing la if other people marking my paper i remember last time when i took statics in utmkl, the question is about a jet and i kept wondering, how lecturer so smart enough to draw the jet using photoshop it was my 1st year so i thought all lecturers make diy question for every test and final. then i visited psz and i took a few statics books and i found out the same diagram in 1 of the books. im also wondering, when they print the upcoming test and final paper? they ask clerk to do the printing/photocopying?

tough luck you guys, even those DIY can be coming from one of us postgraduate. Most of the time the lecturer wants us to draw it back by any necessary illustrated software like photoshop.

Hell, most of the PSM project are given by us postgraduate and then you guys being assign by us.

What about the copy paste material from internet for an assignment exercise. how do lecturers knows about it, using special software to detect any copy pasting?

You dont have to use computer to detect a similar pattern that you encountered everyday. If you really know about the topic, you will realised that you had read it somewhere.

Of course, plagiarise software do exist to detect similarity in your writing. With a simple algorithm. Walah!!

btw occasionally i notice court's floodlight at ktc office oways on but nobody playing, utm too rich edi?

they use turnitin .... web based software.... thats what they use to check ur psm report

i believe this software only can search based on google advanced search only if u dload pdf file from restricted area that need uname/pass to login, i dont think this software can detect where its from. for example, i have a text about a specific disease and i dload pdf file from rapidshare or from handbook/ebook. i think its only works for who directly copy paste from net
