SCJ path je masyuk.. SCV path starting low..

Hahaha I was the last batch of student from FComp to take SCS majoring in GMM.
Now working in IT but not related to my majoring at all. Such is life.

Really? I was offered that after degree but at that time I didn't want to continue my studies.
What's the problem actually?

The problem is most of fast track phd students have low quality in performance even in their thesis(not valuable research).. that's why they cancel the program..

heard from my sv, utm did that at the first place to encourage more student to further postgrad and at the same time UTM can ranked at most PHD student..ranking purpose bla bla

but so far only one student manage to grad from that fast track program (fsksm)..others drop halfway

yeah what hisyam told also correct..our student mentality not research oriented. i still remember my sv prevent any of his student to further fast track..he want us to continue master first and get a hold of it

yeah, they want achieve Research University(RU) status, which they have failed.

yeah bro. got 3 friends from my batch that im aware of..1 drop because dah tak minat..lol

another two tersangkut dekat yearly fac assessment..

btw those 3 were among top student during undergrad..

Me average student lucky didn't accept the offer.

top student or not, when go to next level we all same which need to start over and work hard again.

top student by "book smart" imo. but when came to research it something new

its not like FYP that can recycle old projects

FYP, using existing Mathlab apps.. that's really awesome for smart student..

Downgrade later your cert will be like this : Master of Philosophy which u suppose to get Research of Philosophy..
Industry or other universities can detect that u not do well in their Doctoral study.
