Not siding with any platforms & do correct me if I'm wrong but I think the reason The Witcher's price in Steam increased from $6.78 was due it being included in the daily special offer. Something like during the whole duration of Summer Sale, it was under 50% (example) & on a particular day, Steam decreased it further (like maybe 75%) for that day only.

This might be the reason you deemed Steam as unethical... or something along that line.

Based on GG's tweets, I think next week is going to be RTS week.

necrovision is the vanilla version and lost company is expansion? the expansion worth it ma? the game got quite a low score at steam. only 63. i will give the demo a try first.

Well, if it's not too much trouble for you, it's preferable to update the first post too.

I'm on a mission to dethrone Steam from monopolizing the DD business.

Havent try the demo.. but from looking at youtube.. not too shabby. 2 games for RM30+ isn't too shabby. Oh wel i have a week to decide.. so no biggie.

Yeah, that's 1 setback with GG. That's why it's good to spend some a few minutes reading up user reviews before making purchase.

Steam itself is a form of DRM.

This is understandable since GG is almost equivalent to retail version. Moreover, unlike Steam, GG doesn't involve a client, hence the need to include other kinds of DRM. Else, GG will be akin to safe haven for piracy.
