your MS is rooted?
use OR, put at backup folder IINM, then just flash it.

the official update havent release yet. and i don't know if using rooted device cannot update, but you can follow here for the steps to unroot:
[HOW-TO] Get your Milestone back to stock

for using OR:
[GUIDE] Root + Nandroid Backup/Restore with Open Recovery

Universal Androot i think cannot, you need the flash the vulnerable recovery first. you can try by copying the update.zip and OR folder to your SD card and boot in recovery and see can load the update.zip or not.

btw, nandroid restore already. baseband no need change, can straight away use.

Personally, I'm not excited at all that we are going to get official Froyo soon, it's been sooo long that the significance is lost, largely due to the availability of custom 2.2 ROMs. I want 2.3 now! tongue.gif

I still think that the official Moto 2.2 is more stable than the other homebrew version

now there's a Europe rom in XDA. biggrin.gif

btw, i found a way to keep the launcher in memory (launcher pro, adw, etc) while browsing XDA. easiest is with Root Explorer. mount as r/w, then open build.prop (inside system folder) with text editor, at the bottom, add this line: ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1

i been using this line for few days, ADW didn't reload even after using memory intensive app such as browser or camera.

No need sbf, just use the nandroid backup in OR to flash it. Very quick and easy. I'm now running APAC rom without overclock and it still feels smooth.
