Use Open Recovery. The 3rd last option is clear dalvik cache. You also can clear cache partition.

hey xboxx, wan to ask, when install to SD, which do you use?

I use auto for installation. I think it still use few MB even if you move to SD. I install Angry Bird Season which is 12MB but I notice my internal memory decrease by few MB only.

Yes, you can install back to 2.1, just use the RSD lite and flash the 2.1 image. Or if you got make a backup of 2.1 with OR's Nandroid, you can restore it back. The only drawback is all your data will be gone, so make sure you got backup your data. This also apply when going from 2.1 to 2.2.

Sigh, Motorola is absolute rubbish. How can you justify delaying the update to Froyo when the American counterpart of the Milestone has had it for so long? Even after Google has announced Gingerbread we still haven't gotten Froyo.

Sure you can root and apply custom ROMs but not everyone's mother/grandpa/plumber wants to tinker and experiment just to keep their phones updated. How would you recommend Android to an average user when it's in this state?

Not to mention the rebooting bug. Hate it when it happens while I'm relying heavily on my GPS software.

As much as I love the platform, this is so ridiculous..

CM6 users, have u heard of the Gingerbread theme for our phone? An XDA member has created one specifically for our CM6 mod. I've tested it and it looks & works great! biggrin.gif

Things to look out for

Old issue: any developments in camera apps?

I tried Vignette; it had some interesting features but not always easy to use and some features withheld because it is a trial version. Gone back to 360.

Hey guys, what do you guys think of the milestone with 2.1 on it eh?

in terms of UI, smoothness. Mostly smoothness.
