Or use Threebond Engine Conditioner... Since you spray it through the intake.

I had it manually cleaned. The workshop guys removed the intake manifold and soaked the valves in a solution for a couple of hours before scrubbing all the carbon out. BMW has their own procedure for their DI engines which is called walnut blasting. It seems to be a normal procedure for them to have their valves blasted once in a while.

For reference, take a look at how bad the carbon buildup was on my car smile.gif

hi mates, i manage to get "techron concentrate plus" in Caltex station near to Sungai Buloh, opposite of D'sara Central building site.

still left 3 as of 24/07/2014 11.35pm.

those who interested in KV, can try to get it there.

Yup it's pretty bad. But its common among the VW/Audi 2.0TFSI engines and on the BMW DI engines. Doing a full carbon cleaning once in a while is common practice for owners here. But, an italian tune up every now and then helps keep our valves clean wink.gif

All of them were on different cars.

Noticeable improvements on (Improved FC, improved throttle performance, especially on the CGI the low end before the turbo boost is sufficient)

16 years old Kembara
3 years old C200 CGI (2 Bottles)
4 years old FD2R
6 years old Getz


Minor improvements on (Improved FC)
