i installed xrecovery autoinstallation. now my x8 hang at sony ericsson during reboot. what should i do now?

if u cant get it to work until se logo, thn tht is sumthing wrong thr..

no worry tho, update thru seus to get back to stock firmware.

OUR GREAT GREAT SONY announced that official x8 will stop at 2.1 last update ,
so...im using 2.3 = custom

differ? u can use what Sony don't let you to ? lol xD
- you are using 2.1 right? download many apps now...check which memory u r using...comfirm its phone memory
mine using sd memory

dangerous ? of cos...if u play overclock u might burn your hardware
-warranty void after rooting

one question here . check on xda about rooting guide , so i just install the "SuperOneClick.zip"

anyone try rooting like that ?

and after root then can direct install custom rom right ?

I used superoneclick to do my rooting
after that install root explorer.apk than transfer (i mean copy paste ) 3 files for the xRecovery

than reboot ... keep pressing back and enter xrecovery make backup
than can start installing custom roms

ok , now as i got is , superoneclick.zip

i extract and click superoneclick > root .

it keep stuck on a "waiting device "

but my x8 is already plug in usb and with usb debug .

do i need install any like usb sync ?

just got xperia x8.

got problem in using wi-fi. can connect to wi-fi but cant browse internet. (use fake setting 3g for maxis)

anybody can help me?

try install pc companion 1st...mayb it cant recognize ur x8 ( happens to me b4)

firstly, u nid to hav all the driver it needed for ur phone..

make sure ur driver all installed on ur pc, some says try install pdanet on ur phone, it will let u know if all the drivers r installed..

wht version is ur soc? find the one suitable as thr r many version available on the web.. try look for a guide either on xda or androidforums, both hav excellent support for x8 imo..

xrecovery is more or less like clockwise, if thts wht u said on htc, but thrs a diff.. dunno how to describe but its not tht hard for u to understand..

but a reminder for those who use xrecovery, make sure dun let ur phone till 0% or fully empty, as whn u hav xrecovery, u cant charge while ur phone is off, so its a bit hassle to charge ur phone..

If that thing happened what should I do? ( to charge when battery fully empty)

When u try to charge, it wont charge in off state but instead it will try to on ur phone..HAvent experienced full empty battery,so cant help.u on tht..

then anyone here mind share the install files link ?? i try search on google. found media sync , but i think not that right ?

after i installed app2sd, android market disappear from my phone.
Where should I find the market installer as I find alot but couldn't install successfully.

now my wifi is unable to start wifi. this happened after i tried to install some tethering apps. now i hv uninstalled all the tethering apps. how can i get my wifi to work again.

the files then make x8 connected to phone , because when i wanted root , the superoneclick cant foudn my phone
