dono whether true onot but it seems that some forum say if it comes up with android 2.3 than perhaps dev will try port it into x8 and we'll have a stable 1 ?

after I install ROM, is it still able to restore back to factory setting which is 2.1?

firstly, u nid to hav all the driver it needed for ur phone..

make sure ur driver all installed on ur pc, some says try install pdanet on ur phone, it will let u know if all the drivers r installed..

wht version is ur soc? find the one suitable as thr r many version available on the web.. try look for a guide either on xda or androidforums, both hav excellent support for x8 imo..

xrecovery is more or less like clockwise, if thts wht u said on htc, but thrs a diff.. dunno how to describe but its not tht hard for u to understand..

but a reminder for those who use xrecovery, make sure dun let ur phone till 0% or fully empty, as whn u hav xrecovery, u cant charge while ur phone is off, so its a bit hassle to charge ur phone..

Original sd card should be blank...anyway PC Companion can just dl from SE website.

I just realized neoreader actually works better than Barcode scanner. I can't scan a single barcode using Barcode scanner due to no AF, but neoreader works flawlessly.

I tried CM7 Rom from XDA.. the only bug they mention is the camera only. But, i encounter another problem. My phone shows that my SD card is corrupted. How to fix that in the ROM? Or maybe my SD card does corrupted for real?! Anyone had the same problem like me? Your reply is appreciated.
