Hi, I installed Papago x5. But I think the gps is not working. The satellite icon is blinking at the top right corner. Anyone encounter this? What does the blinking satellite icon mean?

The blinking gps icon means that the Papago is trying to get a gps lock. It might take long time if u at indoor area, try download gps status for gps lock before running Papago, I find it way faster than Papago initiating the gps.

wonder if any1 of u face the same problem as me....after i install the "handcentSMS" thingy...i cant receive sms anymore...and i hv to uninstall it..and reinstall again...after a while, i cant receive sms again....same goes to "chompsms"

Surprise that Papago take so long to lock the gps.

I have not problem, since day 1 I using handcentSMS.

firmware --> like OS for the phone.....

for the chinese input, go to settings --> language & keyboard
check and see whether there is any option to enable the chinese keyboard.

if you didn't see any option for enable the chinese keyboard, that mean your phone did not come with pre-install chinese input, and you need to download from the market.

Haha, have fun with your Papago! Mine took extra long as well the first time it tried to lock, but I guess thats expected. Now its a little faster to get a lock-on, but damn does it drain the battery!

i donload Ndrive with data .. hehehe MYS map

for gps with offline map i would recommend sgic aura over papago. nicer user interface. but need time to get familiar to use to it since i was using garmin for long time.

for moving app to sd i would recommend link2sd instead of app2sd. u can choose which app you want to move to your sd card.

anyway, everybody have their own preferences.

i followed everything from the link, it was pretty hard .....but then y my phone storage is still reducing after i download apps....but for example the apps is like 15mb...phone storage reduced like 2~3mb only....how come?? and wat's busy box? im confused...plz help :/

Added on January 28, 2011, 2:08 amn i stuck when i reach the step "unmount SD card b4 u go for nxt step"....when my phone is connected to the PC....i cant unmount my SDcard....i pressed "setting,sdcard and phone storage" but then the unmount button is "grey" color....cant press@@
