please test by pressing ur brakes firmly especially at morning starts and changing gear. u dont feel the jerk that much and it is bearable. just give it a try. this happens cause the rpm is high during cold starts.

Stepping the brake pedal firmly dont help this problem.
The jerk happens when u release the foot from the brake then the car will suddenly jerk.

How it will help is let go the break pedal very very slowly - then the jerk is less

Is this a common problem in all cars ? since u said its due to high rpm

Proton car also not like this sweat.gif

The measurement is the diamater of the bar, another word is thickness of the bar. I think 16mm is sufficient enough la.
*19mm is more stiffer. biggrin.gif

Lots of people complained that V-Kool tint uses metal element. The colour of the tint will fade as time goes by. I suggest that you go for 3M. Do bear in mind though, 3M tint are not Smart Tag friendly.

Thanks, Thrust. Another brand I'm thinking is Ecotint - RayBarrier. Any comment? I use Smarttag very regularly so I think 3M is not suitable for me.

- Slightly faster engine start up
- Headlights still dim when car is idle, but it's slightly better than before.
- Audio system feel no difference. Maybe I'm using stock audio system. laugh.gif
- While speed and FC wise, can't really tell.

the effect is minimal. But you have a longer battery lifespan. smile.gif

Ecotint Ray Barrier is quite famous but I don't know whether it is as good as 3M. Maybe you can go survey other tint brand such as Lumar. Ask the sales personnel whether it is Smart Tag friendly or not.

I personally prefers 3M as this is a huge US company. Their products are tested & proven to be good nod.gif
