if u got opt for windcreen coveradd on, why do u need to wait? if u claim the windscreen with that, it won't affect ur NCD as well. blink.gif

Cannot.. My insurance expired in July.

If I change in June, then need to wait additional 2 months, then claim. So, wait September to change. No?

It's already getting longer and longer.

speak about the FC, u guys 32 litres petrol only can go for 330km++? just wondering how u guys "whack" the throttle. or perhaps the upgrades of sport rims gain the weight which cause the poor FC.

for my normal driving, i nvr get below 350km for 32 litres before after driving 2 years++ NHC. I record every re-fuel. Vary from poorest 12.8km/l to best 17.1km/l. if normal driving normally i get 13km/l to 14km/l. base on 70% to 80% city drive.

above result is base on ESSO RON95.

yup. dun follow the FC meter provided. Not accurate at all. Normally what it shows shld deduct abt 2km/l as the actual FC

Hi guys,

I plan to get a used 2009 Honda City E ... i am browsing around and the price was about 71-75k ... will it be ok for me to put 20k as downpayment and get a 50k plus loan for 7 years ? My budget is 75k, thats why not going for new City.

What should i take note when looking for a used City ? Any notable issues or problems i must take note ?

seems that most NHC driver can get better mileage compare to me.. between, i using the stock e spec... no modification at all...

i will ask the honda people to reset the ECU then...kinda poor FC for normal driving in the city for me..

urs 70-80% city drive can get around 350km it is normal la. means u still drive on some on highway. the FC we are talking abt is 100% city drive.

your guys NHC gives good mileage ... mine the most that i can get is around 330km.. 100% city driving .. composition of 40% caught in jammed and the balance normal..
*
Hmm that's a bit low. Should be able to get just slightly above 350km per tank. I only get 340km on my car once in my life but that was caused by me driving like a mad cow. Try driving your car until the low fuel sign comes up then pump full tank again n reset your trip calculator. Also practice not stepping on the accelerator too much during jam n let the car roll. I noticed if u switch between petrol brands every time u pump petrol it will affect your FC a bit.

QUOTE(zakdelaroka @ May 6 2011, 10:20 AM)
wah seriously? i thought ori 16" rims can give better mileage. if im not mistaken..400++km on a full tank.
*
Nope...it depends on how broad your tyres are. Standard Honda 16" rims are 185...if u increase that number your FC will be worse as there is more rolling friction/resistance.
