furmiter u talking about is moving white dust right? Very tiny...

fur mites are black in colour.. whilte in colour is the lice or mange mites (very very very small need a 10x lens to c)

ic. Tq xavi. Last time my gp got that white lice, i also use baby oil for about 3 days to remove it.

1 male and 1 female
female is the big one
All healthy and eating well.
Quite tame.

hey guys i notice at petshop that some GP are really huge size (almost size of a dwarf rabbit), are they like different breeds or our normal gp oso can become like their size also?

which pet shop? in kl now.. all selling 2 week old piggy i think .. so bloody small.. all weight less than 250g

at PLC sunway pyramid lor. almost all of them dam huge like dwarf rabbit. but that was 2 weeks ago, dunno if they still have them now. price was rm188 each.

ya meh? i only saw them selling a peru as big as rabbit once.. tat also only single piggy..

Hello, my guinea pig has a lot of tiny moving white dust. What can i do to get rid of them? I'm a new guinea pig owner, need some advice. Thanks in advance

yeah got at least 4-5 of them that time when I saw. the big size almost like rabbit 1 is raised until like that 1 ah?

those r older piggy liao.. last time i ask they say 2 year old de.. order by customer , imported from Netherlands with cert and stuff..

aiyo bos... never give your mini piggy Human medications...
Guinea Pigs are 1,000x times more susceptible to chemical substances, hence the best "laboratory test subjects" after where they became commercial pets.

Our vets here already having a hard time diluting western medicinal mix (from Horse, Dog sizes) down to treat small animals... and it can sometimes still proof fatal. If you give human medicine to try and find out... prob gonna see them over at The Rainbow Bridge (pet loss heaven)...

Just goto a local vet, having their western formulas doesn't make us a full practitioner DVM.

but honestly, try not to buy 1 - 2 years old piggies unless the previous owner handles them with Human Personal Care, that will make the Zhu-Zhus very comfortable and sociable with humans (your guest, friends or corporate clients...) and often seek attention, cuddle, licks, or performs shows with the owner.

If they have been unable to sell for 1 - 2 years, and not much attention given to EACH individual piggy [training] / or not from a previous close-to-piggy owner... will be very hard to build that up. Most crucial months will be from the 1st - 3rd months (the public may come across baby piggies below 3 - 5 weeks old... not a healthy time to sell them at their weakest) where they learn and get to know their owners.

And all of 'em being mixed together male+females different age, breed, sizes... all in a glass window/ box/ cage... not so encouraging lor...

Simply pick one up, put it in your palm, see it's reaction. Does it claw, or cooperate? Looks into you or aloof? A savage or understands? etc. Easy to tell.
