if ur using custom firmware then cant confim wether its a software or hardware problem....try to flash with official firmware first...

hehe, then if i were you, i won't be suspecting the hardware... every single rainbow line occurance whenever u have hanging/crashing apps. But for safe site and comfort of your heart (also warranty near end) u have to make your decision fast about changing the LCD

Dear sifus, I am planning to change my tube's housing myself because the frame is abit loose after a drop yesterday. I saw there are AP casing and original casing in garage sales. What's the different? Is the AP quality differs alot from the original? Did you guys change the housing yourself before? any problem during the process?

so long never update firmware. Now its V50...I'm still on V31. Is there any problems with the new update?

Added on June 24, 2010, 12:21 pmheard of an app called "touch restart" ? when i use that app to restart it will show the lines. if i flash with official firmware then i cant try. coz the official firmware is not hacked hence i can't install the "touch restart" app...

anybody know if i send my phone (installed with custom firmware in order to show the issue) to NCC , will they reject my warranty claim?

Well, i have installed on my phone with official firmware, who say you can't install, just need to sign the software. No white line problem.

ok, so i have made up my mind to get the 5800 navi. sadly, i`m not ordering from etradepj due to some circumstances. thus, i struck a deal with one of the kiosk near my place. a deal of rm830, + screen protector. now heres the case, i`ve noted down several things to check before payment, like checking the life time, IMEI, firmware, light leakage, dead pixels, sirim stickers, avaxx/zitron sticker, check the speakers, and call to test the phone. besides the ones i`ve mentioned, what else should i check, or what did i miss? anyone care to give me some help?

o btw, when i check the firmware, what version should i be looking at?

Any recommendation on which shop to buy 5800 from? Subang or PJ area.

for me, im using FreeSigner, i can sign unsigned app using my phone.

im using the same app. but i unable to install the freesigner app itself! it said certificate error...
