which i should i get abyssus or deathadder?

Depends on what you need?
I will say either get a DA, or consider for other mouse, I din't see any potential of abyssus to be graped. I really think that Abyssus is nothing much more than a ordinary 20 bucks mouse just with extra lighting and onboard memory.
Added on April 19, 2011, 10:51 amSorry for that, not so sure how about Abyssus's on board memory.

Of course it does(but it is not the way that higher is better

).
DPI/CPI in short is the amount of distance(your mouse) you need to drag to move the pointer in your screen for a distance. Low DPI mean you need to drag long distance(more if your screen resolution higher) to move the pointer by a bit. High DPI mean you move slightly the mouse and the pointer already move whole screen
If you dont like to drag the mouse too much(tiring or took time), then go higher DPI till the extend that you can control(i believe not every ppl can control precisely 5600DPI...)

Definitely, I play all my COD with DA or Ikari Laser at only more or less 1k dpi, switch profile to higher dpi when only sniping.
High dpi made difficulty in mini movement, your headshot will slip away.

I'll say go grip both mice and get the one your hand feels more comfortable with. Both are good enough for gaming at your budget.
Higher CPI/DPI doesn't make as much difference as using a gaming versus a non gaming mouse does.

There is some difference. Some people really can play at high dpi and they can control it well. However, in that kind of situation, the accuracy and precision of the mouse must be very good to precisely follow you palm movement. A low quality mouse will even have jitter problem and the pointer shaking even though you are not moving the mouse at high DPI setting.

You've just convinced me to not buy abyssus.
Time to save up for Xai.
but then, I actually wanted to buy abyssus as a "LAN party mouse" to be carried around to CCs and stuff. =/[/quote]
If say it is your secondary mobile mouse and don't want it to be over budget, maybe you can consider for Pyra wireless?

I would have put in RM50 more and hit up Logitech G500. Same sensor as Xai.

But different grip style and comfort wise.
