I just simply listened Edifier M1360....good high but mid was low, bass good enough....but for the price it is really worth for it.

But the woofer covered with black steel, I can't see the woofer bumping. When I try puss the woofer volume to the max, "woo woo woo' sound occur, but it's ok to me . For the satellites, it just simply awesome. And lastly the volume controller, round shape, surround with blue LED, look sexy.  Sound Quality: 9.5/10 Loudness: 9.0 Bass: 10/10 Overall: 9.5/10 What speaker you can get with budget below RM16X ? Only the M3400 ! Joke of the Day: My housemate: How much you buy ah this speaker ? RM300 ? Me: No la, RM1XX My housemate: WTF ?! So big only RM1XX ? Thanks to power911, Edifier, Cosef, kko217, will92 and all Edifier fans for guiding me to get this wonderful speaker ! S530D for me is a real hi grade speakers, it can perform like most Hi-Fi, but only at close range.
An external DAC helps improve the sound, finding more expensive DAC than speaker is not a problem, as long as it worth it as it helps to max out the performance of the speakers. Not only changing DAC and Speakers give you good sound, remember to find other factor to get squeeze out the performance like changing the speaker cable and interconnect cable, putting a board on bottom of the satellites speakers and woofer. More performance can be squeeze out by modding the amps too. Thats what i thought. |
