S530D has Hi-Fi quality already but for close range only.

Definately... it "is" a hi-fi piece of equipment.

I am guessing: you must have a big hall/room in your house now smile.gif
*
Nope, it just a small room, but sit other than sweet spot can't listen all of the sound in the music. When you're are the sweet spot, all the feelings of music was there.

My friend C3 has static sound sometimes, because he put the interconnect beside the power cables, resulting interference.

hmmmn don't get too carried away while playing with multimedia speakers...
don't forget audiophile grade set always has nice caps inside stock
and stay true to the amp shit in shit out style...whats with the new gen of sets having nonsensical fancy digital display and stuff?
haha don't shoot me for this, but even a cheaper micro hifi set from panasonic sounds better and have fullset better caps compared to the multimedia speakers nowadays
*
For edifier headphone amp, it is only an amplifier for headphones because it needs to power some higher power headphones which normally a sound card cannot power it. Some headphone amplifier has Digital to Analog Converter(DAC) inside, works like an external sound card.

Take note, doesn't relate to full recapped micro hifi set.

The components seems good, not superior quality...
maybe the circuit design is not good....

but still... cheap ic chips needs to warm up to sound good XD

did an experiment on it by cooling the ic with dry ice... sounded like crap tongue.gif

I had my home running Azur 840A needs warm up to get good sound...so that amp used cheap cap and cheap ic?

What i thought is that the electron moves faster on higher temperature, that causes the solid state amp needs some warm up to get good sound....has the similarity to CRT that has heating filaments.

I need to do some sourcing again....

not electrons, it's particles smile.gif
particles move fast when heated
that's why solid,liquid,gas is formed tongue.gif
tbc

on the electronic side, chilling things down reduces resistance and conductivity increases

woots woots,off topic XD
*
Electrons....it is like moving much freely in higher temperature. Like the vacuum tube, it is vacuum inside and once the tube is hot, thermionic emission happens, the electrons fly in vacuum to other polarity plate.

Isn't that chilling things down reduces resistance and conductivity is applied to conductor only? it is like the particle bonding is closely packed resulting better electrical conductivity....

Out topic a while nevermind one hehehe tongue.gif

I'll test out some caps and other mod on my m3300 amplifier part....someone will said i'm too overkill laugh.gif

hmm... gotta revise it smile.gif

meh,modding a speaker isn't really overkill
unless you mod the speaker into a computer... now that's overkill
*
i have to revise it again too....

gonna order some components from element14 and hope it reach around next week....coz holiday rclxms.gif
Getting busier and busier on my studies this year sad.gif

Best is to go audit the speakers set, we here can only recommend which range is the best.

Wow this web real pro, they real dismantle everything. notworthy.gif
I like that e20 speaker design.

Added on November 17, 2010, 7:39 pmA mod today,
I just cut off the tweeter guard on my M3300, the results is very good. The high is a lot more detailed, less distorted and more relaxed, overall is much more focus and won't hurt my ear. This guard actually protect tweeter from damage, also prevent people vandalize it like those unprotected demo speakers in Lowyat Plaza laugh.gif

So if you at home and no other people with itchy hand, you can cut it off to get better sound quality.

Heres the pic:
