well if king carlo wants long term success, he still has to breed the kids, if im not mistaken. he brought success to milan when all the seniors were still playing but when some of them retired, milan werent in very good shape.
the problem with us acquiring young strikers is the GODZILLA HUGE ASS boots that they have to fill in. there are not many strikers out there that can fill drogba's boots, whats more, young strikers.

agreed..there is only one drogba. he still going to be our main striker for at least 2 more seasons, but someone must take his place as our main striker one day...

hopefully we get aguero.....or otherwise stick with kalou after drogba left his prime in chelsea colors.....
somehow aguero remind me of zola..maybe because of their physical size..hehe
kalou signed an extension to his contract last year..he is still in CA's plan
benayoun is ok. he has the skill and talent to unlock defence especially in a close tight match. honestly, it's not a great buy but it's ok. as chelsea fans, we just have to trust with carlo ancelotti's plan for next season. hoping he will bring more signing especially those young blood that we badly needed right now...
he might take 13 or 35 and 7 is cursed , i dont want another flop!
Tribute to Belletti, Ballack and Joey
and welcome Benayoun
German hints at Ozil move
QUOTE
The 21-year-old has been one of the star performers at the World Cup so far as Germany have progressed to the quarter-finals and it comes as no surprise to see him being linked with a move away from Werder Bremen. Chelsea are thought to be in the hunt and the midfielder admits he would be tempted at a move to Stamford Bridge once Germany's participation in the tournament is over. "The World Cup is all that matters at the moment," he revealed. "When I get back we can think about my future, but for now it's not something I want to give a lot of thought to. To the top players the Premier League is attractive. "You look at what Manchester United and Chelsea have achieved over the last five years and you see it would be easy to be successful at two clubs like that. "I see what Michael Ballack achieved at Chelsea and the quality of players he played with and the temptation becomes obvious. Trophies are what matters to me. There are two teams in England always at the top and of course that's attractive. But the same is true for La Liga. "They're the strongest leagues in the world."
this might be a BS, i certainly hope the board will bring more young and talented player like Oezil.

thanks for the info ichi! I think if u didn’t mention it here, most of us will be in the dark as well. Even all the tabloids missed it, which is quite frankly, shocking.Brilliant spot mate!
I have to say I’m very impressed by the way we went about our business getting this young prospect. Only murmurs of his name a few weeks back, then everything went quiet. Suddenly he’s already on our books! Fantastic work by our scouts and negotiators in getting him in quietly without much fuss. This is the way we should conduct our transfer business, and I look forward to more aces up the management’s sleeves. Way to go chelsea! Mighty pleased with how this went down.
