yeah our midfield will be quite flexible with two box to box midfielders! essien and ramires can instantly switch positions confusing the opposition markers!

kakuta and bruma will appear in carling and fa cup games hopefully.

i didnt know this year's champions league finals will be played at wembley. it would be great if we can manage to get into the finals again this year.

Real Madrid sign Mesut Ozil from Werder Bremen

Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Mesut Ozil from Werder Bremen, according to the club's official website.

The midfielder, who starred for Germany at this summer's World Cup in South Africa, is believed to have joined the La Liga club for a fee close to £13m. The 21-year-old had also been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea but Real have long been seen as the favourites to secure his signature.

"His unique touch, unmatched individual technique, excellent ball control and deadly last pass make the German midfielder one of the brightest up-and-coming stars in European football," read a statement on Real's website about Ozil, who scored 13 goals in 60 matches for Bremen.

The player joins fellow Germany midfielder Sami Khedira at the Bernabéu as José Mourinho continues to reshape the squad having arrived from Internazionale at the end of last season.

i think the transfer of ozil to madrid is good to us. he is indeed a star in the making but we should seriously developing the squad for future seasons that is according to the new rule. at least this can give a life line for our youngster to make a breakthrough into the first eleven. even if ozil comes here, he will not be considered as homegrown player. correct me if i'm wrong. hehe

for me mikel is a long-term bench-warmer....due to essein injury..he get the chance to play....he still hasnt score a premier league goal....he almost did that last weekend..
