Wow buyer must be diehard fan willing to pay such a premium. And I think it is better to sent in your set for warranty since still new. I have read on web similar issues too even on uk sets

does this problem only occurs on earlier batch? How about the later batch?

yea.. planning too.. wait i get my new phone 1st then send it for warranty la.. atm no phone use as spare.. many people in dell forum also complaints like i do.. some sent back and got a new unit but same thing happens also.

i tried both batches already and seems like the 2nd batch unit seems ok.. the battery cover is tighter at least.. and a few days of usage never have any symptoms of switched off and restarts.

Found out that I cannot charge the Dell in the car using McKay cigarette lighter. Also unable to charge it using an external battery Tekkeon charger. Strange as battery is 3.7 v just like my other hd2, galaxy s n previous nexus.
My tekkeon charger can even charge my Sony vaio notebook but not this Dell

Looks like I have to order another battery , so expensive at 32 £

yes i couldnt charge using my capdase 2 usb ports in car charger as well.. but the charging works with capdase power mobile sthing.. forgot the name.. the one that has both phone holder and usb charger..

I was referring to sgs and like u said , its laggy with after 8 pages of applications ..........

Noobi3 : You are right. I remember I have put away somewhere a old generic brand iphone 3GS car charger. Took it out and noted is 1000maH, well now using it in my car to charge . Thanks for the tip !

ahah tempting.. but i'll wait. i really need to see how much is the HD selling. if let say i'm selling my SGS around rm1,500 and the DHD is around rm2499.. i have to top up rm1k which may not be worth it.. for me DHD wins in terms of software while SGS is better in hardware side. Some more, as long as there are devs working on the SGS and Samsung not rule out froyo update, there's still light at the end of the tunnel for the galaxy s.

for the case, how much he is selling? coz brand new with postage cost me rm88 only. u'll get screen protector as well..

Actually beside the screen which is SLCD , DHD wins ....... Even the processor is a new type 8255 compared to SGS 8250 . And for your SGS , if yours is a Maxis set with full package and condition is as good as new , let me know , I will direct u where 2 sell it for around 1.9-2k .....

I offered him RM80 but still no news . Actually , its was offered to me by ct-trade , seems his fren wanna sell it ....... Maybe i will just order it .....

SGS is hummingbird while DHD is snapdragon? different architecture right.. and so far everywhere i read said that SGS has better processor and better gpu.

yeah mine is Maxis set, but not as good as new. u know, the SGS back cover is really prone to scratch.. but if really can get 2k, i dont mind spending for the backcover haha.. but maybe if can get rm1.7k with current condition is great enuff for me.
