The paid subscription is NOT limited to one phone. Just sign in your username which you used to buy the subscription. I have download many baked roms for my Nexus and the R2 version for the Dell Streak |

i dont think u understand what i meant. and i said fullest, not only. the development of custom rom for nexus one is very fast last time, compared to other devices that i've used (x10, desire, milestone, wildfire, streak, galaxy S).
this is because last time, there's not as many good android phones as now, and most of the top devs managed to focus on only 1 device, which was nexus one. there's no need to put all caps to stress out and of coz i know to sign in my username lol This post has been edited by irenic: Oct 4 2010, 02:57 PM |

Not sure how true is that though as we've heard lots of broken promises by manufacturers. Our best hope is cyanogen rom that is in development now. |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Oct 5 2010, 08:26 PM) Anyone seen this ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ35mEyGEFQ&feature=related The HTC Desire HD comes with fastboot, phone will bootup within 5 seconds !!! I ran this HTC Desire HD rom on my HD2, the bootup was very much faster by about at least 1 minute than the Desire /Nexus build on the HD2 . Most Android builds on the HD2 bootup takes about 2-3 minutesLooks like a good replacement 4 streak already ..... only 0.7" smaller |

Desire HD is seriously tempting.. once it reaches Malaysia, i will definitely consider selling my SGS for DHD. but it all depends on the price of DHD..
whatever it is, i'll keep the streak. hehe |

wah so fast? how much u sold it.. issit via lowyat.net?
well as i need 2 phones, i guess the only device that is comparable to the DHD is SGS. so it's either i keep my SGS, or sell it for DHD. for the streak, imo it is in its own league. while it has slower cpu among the other 2 devices, older android, it's the 5" screen that makes it different. i'm used and can say spoiled by the fantastic browsing experience on the Streak that I can say I no longer surf on my SGS that is on froyo with flash support. Dell Streak is awesome in it's own way~! This post has been edited by irenic: Oct 6 2010, 02:08 AM |

QUOTE(irenic @ Oct 6 2010, 02:07 AM) wah so fast? how much u sold it.. issit via lowyat.net? actually, how is it slower as compared with SGS? Is the difference significant? Cos I presume that when it reach Froyo, it shouldn't be much slower than SGS right? I mean, if just 1 sec slower is fine with me... I'm really tempted by the 5" screen!!well as i need 2 phones, i guess the only device that is comparable to the DHD is SGS. so it's either i keep my SGS, or sell it for DHD. for the streak, imo it is in its own league. while it has slower cpu among the other 2 devices, older android, it's the 5" screen that makes it different. i'm used and can say spoiled by the fantastic browsing experience on the Streak that I can say I no longer surf on my SGS that is on froyo with flash support. Cos I presume that when it reach Froyo, it shouldn't be much slower than SGS right? I mean, if just 1 sec slower is fine with me... I'm really tempted by the 5" screen!! My personal assessment of the SGS ( after 3 weeks usage ) - the outstanding features : Beautiful Screen display, can view under sunlight. Plenty builtin space 16GB to install apps, great video optionsNEGATIVES : Laggy UI, launching apps is slow - some takes up to 2 sec, accessing files is terribly and horribly slow - first access can take up to 4-5 sec, subsequent access at least 2-3 secs. I have tried improving it by installing voodoo lag fix and also OCLF - it improves it but still loses out by wide margin to the Nexus, HD2 ( Android ),. I have tested out several cook roms too, including Froyo beta, not much difference. And the SGS GPS is the worst , I refused to use it - an agony to use it !!! Great hardware specs letdown by poor software implementation. The Dell Streak beats the Samsung in all these - excellent GPS, program launch and file access is almost instant The SGS is reputed to be a good gaming device due to its better graphic chip - I cannot verify this as I dont play any games The main negative points I mentioned really turn me off. But once the programs are launched, its performance is OK. I will not say it is better than the Nexus, HD2 or even the Dell Streak. If I may say, The Nexus blows it out of the water, while the HD2 on Android is comparable if not better in some ways. The Dell Streak will not lose out much in any way; infact for most apps I used I dont see much difference compared with the SGS. Of all these 4 smartphones I used, I am very impressed with Dell Streak bootup time - it is the fastest. So if you want an opinion from me, you wont lose out much getting the Streak , a great smartphone with a big screen but loses out in screen display, color to the SGS. The color and sharpness of the SGS display is really amazing if you compared it side by side with the other 3 smartphones I have quoted And looking at the web reviews, videos and having tested the Desire HD rom on my HD2 ( only thing not working is htcSense.com and HTC Likes as not available yet ) , I view the Desire HD as the next killer smartphone. I will get it - will sell off the HD2 and Galaxy S and ageing iPhone 3GS . Too many phones already , will just keep the Dell Streak This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 6 2010, 08:07 AM |
