for real? I mean, how's the size of the battery then?
Can't be small as Dell Original battery right? So, do they then provide compatible back cover? Kinda useless if the battery is big till the back cover is not be able to slot in cos you can't start a Streak without back cover!! *update: okay, just found out the picture of this battery.... but, it makes Dell Streak looks kinda stupid in my opinion.... ![]() This post has been edited by arbelnox: Sep 30 2010, 09:21 AM |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Sep 30 2010, 09:24 AM) yeah, after all it is 4800mAH. However I do wondering how much more longer that it can last as compared to 1530mAH? If it is triple then it will be very cool!!But still, i kinda doubt its usefulness for normal users who dont travel cos we can just charge every night. However, as a backup battery for long journey then this is a must have despite it's retard looking! This post has been edited by arbelnox: Sep 30 2010, 10:58 AM |

But I hope to find my husband's phone. sorry for ur husband lost.. anyway maybe u can ask your husband to get the IMEI from the box and let us know.. so we can be careful with someone selling 2nd hand streak that doesnt come with complete package..My husband was traveling Penang Maylasia Georgetown area when he lost his Dell Streak. He may have sat it down at the night marker KL, or in taxi 2055 on his way to his Traders Hotel in Georgetown. It's so sad to lose this phone to him! I posted in lost and found craigslist for it also. Please send me email if anyone has found a black Dell Streak since September 19th. He is back in America now. I really hope to find his phone. We have pictures that are dear to us on it. My husband is a Dell employee. He was traveling on business for Dell when he lost it. If the finder brings it to Dell they can verify the owner. Thank you so much for your time to read this! This post has been edited by irenic: Sep 30 2010, 03:41 PM |

In honor of the Dell Streak's upcoming release in Australia, the company's Australian team organized a flash mob in Sydney to promote and generate interest in the device.
The last flashmob I have seen was the Ford Fiesta launch at KL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkvW2he2loc...layer_embedded#! This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 1 2010, 01:08 AM |

I've seen the this video already... but isn't that just a normal commercial or something? A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then disperse. The term flash mob is generally applied only to gatherings organized via telecommunications, social media, or viral emails. The term is generally not applied to events organized by public relations firms, protests, and publicity stunts. This post has been edited by Noobi3: Oct 1 2010, 08:45 AM |

There will be another 7" touchscreen similar to Streak launching by Dell to compete with other tablet such as the Galaxy & PlayBook. But don't know is it on Android or Windows 7.
