the demo is...... let say that FFX-2 is better.... graphic what make me sad

I don't find the graphics any different from 13 at all. In fact I like the character movement now, feels more flexible than in 13 where it's very stiff when the character is moving. Although during battle I find that Serah and Noel has a delay when trying to execute their moves.

gameplay more fluid.. me like it... environment is too complicated for my taste.. and I miss my old crew already.. sigh..

I'm confused. So the full Japanese version they're having the DLC for is R3 and not R2?

donno why, the demo gives me a headache and the graphic is worst than ffxiii

Japanese version DLC is R2.

R3 also got Japanese version DLC but probably will not work with Chinese/English version.

as per nwk's post, full japanese version (subs and dubs) has 2 versions: a Japan R2 and an Asia R3. Both have the Omega DLC.

english R1 also has the Omega DLC, and more often than not the English R3 is a Asian reprint of the R1, so without doubt they have the Omega DLC (and Asians get it regardless where they preorder unlike the US)

The odd version out is the English/Chinese version R3 (jap vocals, chinese and english subs) which iirc is localized by Sony HK or TW. Hence my guess is any major DLC especially ones with new locations, text and GUI will need to be localized first. Skins (which is what the Chi/Eng R3 is getting) are easy since there are no text involved (except for perhaps a description)

We never had DLC for FFXIII so this problem was never apparent.

Doesnt make much diff to me having dlc or no dlc at all. I think SE is trying to see if adding dlc to milk profit from their ff series would be rewarding. Since now many jrpg games already started dlc profiting business.

Played the demo, and I feel a wee bit disappointed somehow; like it lacks character.

But I hafta agree with lilko.. Gameplay and movement is much more fluid.. and I like how they got rid of the "each character posing for afew seconds" during paradigm shift.

QTE gameplay is nice, make the game somewhat feel like watching a Final Fantasy cutscene.
