I don't think they will release a PS 4 just because of jailbreak

Because almost every console on the market has been hacked, PS3 is in fact the champion right now after lasting for so long ( 4-5 YEARS ) lol..


If they do, that is actually equivalent to Surrender towards the hackers, very bad to the brand reputation.

Phewww, finally finish FF13.....almost gave up when stuck in the final boss haha:)

hey guys, I'm having problem defeating barthandelus @oerba. I've maxed out all my 3 main roles for each characters and half way thru on another extra role. My character's average hp is around 4k, max the weapon lvl for light,fang and snow(the 1st star only). But yet, I cant defeat barthandelus. Do I need to max all my crystarium roles? I'd hope not cause it's freaking hard to lvl the extra/side roles as they consume many cp but only upgrading low stats.
Any advice? I usually use light/snow/fang. I focus more on attacking. Thats how i lvl up my characters. I lvl up at the area where bahamuth and a wolf fighting there. anyway, I Read online that I should use Shaz for the haste buff and Hope for the buffs too and light for attacking.
But my shaz attack power is only 480+(if compared to snow/fang/light, they hav around 900-1100 ap). So yea I'd doubt I'll be able to win with that kind of status. . Any tips/advice?

Wow... you opt for the aggressive fight.. I can never survive that especially turn base type... I still think you shud have a medic pro in your team or else your fight on later stage is going to be hard too unless you are willing to spend hours and hours of fight doing side missions like some of the sifus here or like other pros who can somehow deal with it... Lol...

Well, I always think you have to try not to let your hp go lower than half, especially when lightning is quite slow in casting spells... If can, sabo barthendalus and make sure your status all up by using synergist.. then start spamming what ever attack you had.. Ravenger can score higher stagger rate but you need commando to sustain it.. change in between whenever you see fit sabo and synergist, medic and attack spam.. then no problem dy.. Barthendalus is quite easy... Weird that you had no problem with Cid.. He is by far the toughest for me.. Oh no.. there is one more, which is ...

haha yea, aggressive fights are easier+faster for me actually(Well at least so far until Barthendelous) . lol.
Eg. like the falcie boss at the temple, I used Fortisol/Deceptisol/Aegisol, Light/Snow/Fang with all raverger from the begining. Then when the falcie's staggered, paradigm shift to ALL commando. lol I manage to k.o that falcie once it's been staggered and no attacks on my team at all(once's the falcie fall). Thats why I prefer my Light/Snow/Fang combo.
but unfortunately I can't make this work for barthendelous. I know I gotta use light/shaz/hope. butttttttttttttttttttt my shaz's attack power is pretty weak tho I max all the 3 main roles. So I really doubt I can win with that. I can keep my team alive but I really really doubt I can bring down the boss before he cast doom on me. lol.
my question is, should I lvl up all my other roles(for each characters)? Does it make any difference? Cause the stats point that are added are around +15/+20/+25 only but lvling up the other roles(besides the 3 main roles) are hard man! they consume lots of cps.

if u want aggressive, i advice not to do so especially after that fight. normal monster also can knock u out. this is true as you will face normal mobs that you cant beat earlier on your way to barthandelus. for me, use debuff him first and gives haste and shell should be enough. dont let your hp fall under critical zone, use medic when he launch beam of laser and debuff him after your party fully heal and repeat. use sentinel if you want to. if u use these,no need for farming.
if u want to beat him with current party, try to beat adamantchild, u may had hope of beating him if u can beat the turtle

My advise is not to use Sazh. He is terrible. The best party is Lightning/Hope/Fang, and they make up for all the 6 roles in your party. Hope has very high magic stats so he is ideal as both MED and SYN, while Fang has the highest attack so have her as COM, SEN and SAB. Lightning remains as COM and RAV.
Before going into the battle, you can stock some Foul Liquids to cure Daze. At the beginning, have RAV/SYN/SAB to buff your party and debuff Barthandelus. This should build up some stagger points, then switch to RAV/RAV/COM, until he is staggered. You can continue with that paradigm to have higher stagger %, then only switch to COM/COM/COM.
And it would be best if one paradigm is MED/SYN/MED, since this boss can dispel ur buffs and his attacks can take quite a chunk of hp from you. Once your hp reaches the safe zone (don't have to be full), switch to MED/SYN/SAB to debuff the boss. And you may want to have a paradigm with a SEN to reduce damages to other 2 members and save them some time to cure or buff, but only when that SEN have green-zone hp. Just switch wisely between your paradigms depending on the situation and you will be fine. Always put your party's safety as your priority instead of doing some reckless offensive attacks.

Don't put both Snow and Fang in your party as they have very same roles. This pairing might be efficient in defeating normal monsters, but it rarely works on big bosses and those monsters in high-level missions. FFXIII requires you to have some tactics instead of mashing the ATTACK button. Without MED, SYN and SAB, you'll be toasted, especially in EDEN.

very true.....it took me a while before realising it......as long as got healing paradigm, defense paradigm and attack paradigm and your patience.....its will be easy to defeat the final boss too......i finish it without even max my character crysta...lucky

and now just sit and wait for FF13 part 2 or FF versus 13 hehehe.....looks good

Listening to Japanese version with subtitles, and I think it is more emotional.. Their theme song oso better.. More feel.. Maybe because we do not understand Japanese but, the tone of their voice feel like more convincing... although english one oso ok la.. if only we were given choices.. hmm

sabo the fcuker, the let a commando hantam him ka2 kaw. stagger it constantly. i defeated that sob in 10 mins time.

there is a jap vocals and english subs version.

anyway hope they announced it ahead for ff13-2 unlike ff13 ...

Play Asia has listed the US version of Final Fantasy XIII-2 to be in stock on December 2011.

if this is true, SE is suddenly releasing their games ridiculously fast!

It is very unlikely to be true , since Play-Asia would never be the first side that would receive any sort of product release info from Square Enix .


If anything Amazon JP would have a much more trustworthy source ,but they did not have any release date either.

This is most probably their own speculate date , but of course release date rumors for big title is always something to be hyped upon.

many people are begging for a dec release... Who knows.. lol..

FF13 English version has some incredibly awful, and intolerable and cheesy English Translation, I was unable to finish it without worrying my hand going behind my TV. I especially cant stand listening to Snow , Vanille or Hope for longer than 5 seconds.


They seriously need to hire a more professional English writer , I sincerely pray that they put a some effort (and time ) in the dialogue this time .

Snow's an idiot. Stupid voice and bad dialogue... 'Your hero is here!' some kind of cheap japanese manga hero.
