FF 13 - 2 ?
Oh jesus, hopefullly this time they hire some professional writer...

According to famitsu the HD ver of the trailer has already been uploaded at the official FF13-2 site.

There will also be a large amount of information and interview of the game in the next volume of Famitsu.

Be careful when buying the game, a lot of merchant are heartless and tend to cheat with all kind of tactics.

There is no official Extra content or DLC from FF13 itself ,in any versions.




However some FF13 come with code that allow you to register for a chance to try the beta in FF14 .
( which is a history already) It is mostly unrelated with FF13 itself .

Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2 producer Yoshinori Kitase and director Motomu Toriyama revealed some latest info on the game in this week's Dengeki magazine.

* The story of FFXIII-2 will take place in Gran Pulse after the ending of FFXIII
* The main plot will begin like the FFXIII Episode 1: Corridor of Memory booklet that came with the Japanese Xbox 360 version of FFXIII International but further expanded
* Besides the protagonist Lightning, other FFXIII characters will make unexpected appearance somewhere in the game, and some will have major changes
* Some of the events from the first game will be carried over and reflected in this game
* The story will be more dark and mysterious
* The story will focus on the Goddess Etro, who was one of the three Goddesses created by God Buniberzei, in order to world to search and destroy his mother Muin
* This game will not have the modern pop style setting like in Final Fantasy X-2
* The battle system will be an evolved version of the ATB system from FFXIII
* The development team will incorporate opinions from both the domestic and foreign players, from characters, story to user interface
* The game may have difficulty setting at the beginning



Hopefully Hope and Snow will never show up in the game again....

Famitsu weekly has revealed more information on FF XIII-2 ,nothing as much as FF13 VS but some tidbits ;


- Have Lightning and the others are really living in peace and happiness after the ending of FF13 ? This will be answered
in FF13-2

- We are wondering, Have we been walking the right path with FF13's combat system ?

- The entire game does not takes place in the original gran pulse, but gran pulse will show up as 1 of the location.

Right now every single FF 13 - 2 interviews makes me feel like they are tricking players into finishing FF13 .



Speaking as someone who Plat this game on the second week;
( not to brag, but to tell you I was an extremely hardcore fan of FF but how disappointed I am on FF13 ).


I honestly doubt how much they can improve on the game.
We are talking about the guy who kept giving out so much promises before FF13 was released, but 93% of them are not fulfilled.

And I cant believe Kitasa got to be the Producer again? After all these years working along the other legendary Producer such as Hinorobu does not seems to have helped . Looking back at several titles he was a producer on, there hasnt been much excitement either. ( Look at Diege of Cerebrus , oh no...)

At worst I am going to post more sarcastic comment on his twitter again , in the case he has not realize how much he has broke the brand of FF. I am not going to give FF13 - 2 anymore chances , if it sucks I will just boycott it.





Square Enix has been so D00med recently, the only remaining producer that could produce good RPG is Nomura , but we cant expect him to make every game.

I had the testimonial from JLPT of level 4 .



Yoshinori Kitase didnt exactly work independantly on FF10 though, even if I agree it was a great game.
Hinorobu Sakaguchi started the development for many many years.
After that he left ,the entire FF X were credited to Kitase due to some conflict Hinorobu was rumored to had with Square Enix.



Sakaguchi had produced many good games on his own , and most recently Last Story on Wii which looked more interesting than anything anything Square had within the last few years. He most probably will not be back, as he stated Last Story might as well be his last game if it doesn't sell well ,and traditional RPG on wii does not sell well..

And how in the world does that indicates to the possibility of having a sequel lol.


You are basically saying the same as :

Johnny Depp got a dreadlock when he attended POTC premier, so that does means there will be POTC 5,6,7,8?

It is still one of the best looking RPG ( strictly on the Looks ) around.
There might have been frame drop but it was not very notice-able as my side , I thought Square Enix did a fantastic job in rendering all those action packed scenes in real time.


PS3 has seen its age, and this is the 5th year now it has been released to the public. Obviously you should not compare it with some of the prettiest PC games .


Frame rate dropping is a commonly seen issue in graphically intense games .
Saying PS3 is weak just because of a game had frame rate is just completely obnoxious.
There could be many other reasons behind the scene.


Might I suggest that you are in fact 1 year late in playing FF13 ; and 5 years late in purchasing a PS3 ;
( assuming that you have just bought it since you are QQ ing about the frame drop )

I don't think they will release a PS 4 just because of jailbreak

Because almost every console on the market has been hacked, PS3 is in fact the champion right now after lasting for so long ( 4-5 YEARS ) lol..


If they do, that is actually equivalent to Surrender towards the hackers, very bad to the brand reputation.

It is very unlikely to be true , since Play-Asia would never be the first side that would receive any sort of product release info from Square Enix .


If anything Amazon JP would have a much more trustworthy source ,but they did not have any release date either.

This is most probably their own speculate date , but of course release date rumors for big title is always something to be hyped upon.

FF13 English version has some incredibly awful, and intolerable and cheesy English Translation, I was unable to finish it without worrying my hand going behind my TV. I especially cant stand listening to Snow , Vanille or Hope for longer than 5 seconds.


They seriously need to hire a more professional English writer , I sincerely pray that they put a some effort (and time ) in the dialogue this time .
