porting is enlarging the holes, polishing is smoothening, but not too smooth.

inlets musnt be too smooth, outlets has to be smooth IMHO. Some may prove otherwise with theories and results, some may polish the inlets to a mirror finish

the performance way much better and the mapping is totally different which stock Waja cant use else you wont able to idle at all or start.

you are right.
stock waja( out of factory) doesn't have the air filter but if you noticed there is a gap in between(slot for a slim type air filter) next to air-con cooling coil under the dashboard compartment.
open up the compartment and you will see the gap. creative ppl capitalize on that and produce an air-con air filter for waja
finding a right one is hard thou!

do not put further strain on your waja. just save up and change to higher capacity mivec engine
