just came back from equine park and on the way back saw one gen 2 with a vios tioing him all the way most probably doing around 130 to 170. slam my accelerator and able to catch up very soon enough just not long after catching up need to get myself into junction so can't really play with it but the sprint feel is damn great. biggrin.gif

addendum : right after i catch up with the vios , the driver pressed on the brake , guess he's shock another car catching up. tongue.gif

Lol , they're my course mate lah, boyfriend pulak. after remapping the ecu , definitely can feel the power more linear. Constantly driving at 110km/h still can feel the power that the engine capable of.

In my opinion , this rom is better than the street rom as when you need the speed , you rev the engine making the engine works so hard and if you compare with this Ultimate rom , your cruising speed is already fast as it's powerful all around the rpm range and when you need a more ummph then only you rev making your engine less rev but still in high speed. Go and remap your ecu with the ultimate setting today! smile.gif

Steven dint pay me a single cent for this and i still need to pay him though. laugh.gif

QUOTE(swk_sam @ Jun 4 2010, 08:15 PM)
Lolz... haha... if makan minyak we go yamcha again, its ok de biggrin.gif
*
agree on that , but i dont think this rom will cause high fuel consumption as you will rev less with this rom.

After remapping the ecu , i dont feel the need for taking out the cat-con - (YET) as the new mapping gives out pretty good torque.

Maybe when I need more torque and budget allows.

steven , mind share the dyno result with the ultimate rom ?

would like to know how much horssie we get out of it.

1.6 (4G18)

5-speed MT / 4-speed AT
SOHC 16-valve inline-4 cylinder Mitsubishi 4G18
Multi Point Injection (MPI) Fuel System
Max output : 102 hp (76 kW) @ 6000 rpm
Max torque : 145 N•m (107 lb•ft) @ 2750 rpm
Max speed : 185 km/h (115 mph) (manual); 180 km/h (112 mph) (auto)

Is there any way out there to improve the braking power without hurting the wallet so much ?

wah, almost same with manual car FC d...
you using renault 1.8? must be a headache to you
*
heard steven say that open pod is suitable for auto owner after we change our rom as the sluggishness on the low end torque overcome by the ecu, if not mistaken.

if not mistaken , estima is 3.0cc right ? no replacement for displacement definitely but smoking them at corner is fun but it's pretty dangerous as the whole journey is raining though.

yngwie , you're the one who drive altezza aswell right ? wub.gif

no replacement for displacement buddy , what rom also same. laugh.gif
my engine really rev less nowadays as there's already power to push the car to a very decent speed during low rpm. well worth updating the mapping.

QUOTE(sin910 @ Jun 9 2010, 09:52 PM)
thanks yngwie
perhaps, any1 know the price for platinium spark plug & iridium spark plug?
if i change to iridium spark plug, do i need to change the plug cable & iginition coil as well?
*
I change my platinum plugs for Rm55 + another 15 bucks for installation. iridium plugs should be around 130-150 , although expensive but in long term , it's much cheaper to runs as iridium is good to go for 100k km.

three sets of platinum that can last you 60k km which already cost 165 without installation so you do the maths. smile.gif

it's recommended to change the plug cable after a while as the older the wire the higher chance of higher resistance in the cable.
